The patch should be re-applied with every update (or season in this case) or it won't show the button and default to the Clones storyline (Patreon sucks).

I thought I did, I played it for a bit, found the line at the lake, unpacked everything again + patch, but it didn't work. Then I asked, tried again and for some reason it worked the second time, but maybe it was just some renpy hiccup.
They don't happen often, but with my old laptop I had 2 or 3 games that bugged out on graphics regularly and I had to change the graphic mode. It would work for a couple minuts and then happen again.

Ok first of all if the Dev should ever read this I like the game I really do.
So this is not in anyway a criticism or a complaint just the puzzled observation by a fan
(with aparently way way too much time on my hands).
But as I was playing it to try and get uptodate with it yet again.
I kept going back the to the same few scenes that somehow something just seemed wrong some how.
Well to me atleast and I couldn't figger it out what it was at first...
But now i'm starting to wonder if I need my depth perception needs cheaking.
Because for the life of me I just can't figger out how you could get these two cars.
Parked like that in that Garage and going through that Garage door to do it in the first place.
When you see the Cars supposed sizes and the possible amount of avalible space we can see in that Garage.
I'm wondering if they are hatch back because thats the only possible why you could get in and out of them.
Once parked there like that or I could just need to go to specsavers again?.

Usually Trope95 answers posts here faster than I do, so an assumption that he reads stuff here is not that far off.

To answer the question. If I remember correctly, this is critizism of the American home construction industry, shrinking garage sizes to impractical and unmanagable sizes to gain more sq. feet for living room (on the paper). This is offset by the otherwise open architecture presented, which by itself is also a critizism to the non-existent privacy for the individual and living a glass citizenship in general. Classic Orwell. That's where all that clones and secrets stuff originated from.

To make it clear, above paragraph is meant as a joke and has actually nothing to do with Orwell's criticisms. In Orwell's times, they all had large garages.

The mod is integrated into Season 2, so no need to download it anymore.
What you need is the unofficial ipatch that you can download in my post here

It will enable a button on the main menu that you should cycle between Family and Clones (lower-left corner). The version you want is Family.
