Skyborn, a Patron of mine for the upper Tier has allowed me to post a couple of Commissioned Art images I made for him:
When I made this image, Meemaw only had shown up in the Christmas Special. The theme was an All-Family image, but showing Betty would have been a spoiler, so she isn't there.

I read a review that got me scratching my head. He complained that MC told the women that they couldn't be with other men but he can have as many women he wants. UMM hello this is a harem thats the way it works duh.
Except that, unlike the other Harem games, 2 girls came up with the reason for it. The reason is based on Health and Hygiene. They are OK with sharing him with other girls, as long as those girls don't bring other men into the mix, because of STDs.

As reasons go, it's a bit flimsy, but, it's way, way more than what all other Harems have. The MC already had that intention, he wasn't very keen on sharing "his" girls with other men, they just provided him with a "clean" argument.

I, personally, find that Topecita's way of "excusing" the trope, is quite elegant and has some sense, even if it doesn't consider that no "clean bill of health" was required or demanded before joining the Harem, but, it is, at least, an attempt to give it a spin that isn't based on possessiveness and on a power trip by the MC. Also, none of the girls asked for a "CBH" from the MC, even when they know that he has/had other women.

I know that this is Porn, and uses Porn logic, so, it's not really needed to delve too deep. On this title we have a new approach to the trope, that should be enough, right?

You will find any type of complaint in the reviews, even people complaining about things that don't happen :ROFLMAO:.

did you play the game because a reason is given to make this more "realistic"
I wasn't aiming for realism but for less hypocrisy on the MC's part with that reason. He looked a bit pushy with Emma, and first Simone and later Alexia give him a good reason to keep the harem "other-maleless".

Asking for a CBH before sex would be the less romantic thing after asking for signed consent for sex ;).
The MC (or the dev in this case) doesn't want other males in the harem, but he looked a bit hypocritical when telling that to Emma and I didn't like it 100%. There are several reasons to not share the girls:
* From the MC PoV, he knows he can make the girls happy, but introducing other guys into the harem would mean there is an uncontrolled variable and the possibility of messing up the whole relationship. But he can't say it, even to himself, without sounding pompous and selfish. It's something he feels right in his guts.
* From the dev PoV, there won't be NTR or Sharing with other males, so there should be a reason, even a flimsy one, the girls can accept. Having the nurse's daughter "inventing" that reason had some logic on it.

I wrote myself in a corner with the habit the MC has of talking about everything, so it was the best way to exit that corner.

Kind of helped that most of the women are virgins or haven't had sex for a long time. But as reasons to keep it as one male many women relationship, it's better than some others I think.

No complaints from me, just need to see more Megan. (And Alexia, Eileen, Saira, etc.)

You'll see one of those girls in 0.10B. It's Saturday night! (and afternoon, and evening) ;)

Yep, 0.11 will have some of her. I hope to surprise some players.

Yes, the CBH request is, or can be, an absolute relationship killer. Yet, if I am to be honest, logically makes sense. Especially if you don't know anything about the person, or, if you know they are promiscuous.

Is it that much of a romance killer as saying that they must be OK with you having other girls? I imagine it the other way around, and I have to say, in that context, the CBH wouldn't kill any romance that hadn't already jumped from a tall building.

An Harem has, in my view, very strong points over a monogamous relationship, but, come on, romantically? Because nothing says "I Love you" as strongly as "All my other girls agreed on sharing me". Let's not go THAT way. An Harem or a Poly-amorous relationship, have a LOT of love and romance too, but MUST be solidly planted on the ground, because these are real dangers, that can even be lethal. If it makes sense in a monogamous one, if we want to be a responsible adult, imagine how much more sense it makes when there are so many vectors as this.

I don't dispute the fact that it isn't the most enjoyable request, or even a practical one, considering how fast the MC adds girls, he's been there for what, 2 weeks? Ha, it would be a rather awkward visit to the doctors, what, once every 2 days? Maybe the first results weren't even in, he would already be asking for several ones...

And while I love this MC passion for the talking, if the issue was pressed to this level of complexity, most girls would jump out.

I only pointed the absence of the CBH to explain why I called the reason, flimsy. The reasoning, works, if you don't dig too much, because it isn't really backed by any facts. And, yes, I still very much LOVE that you bothered to cover his ass this way.

Peace :)

I didn’t want to spoil anything so I purposefully said something vague :p

why is Mc still calling his mom martha with the Ipatch installed?
I think he only calls her Martha when talking with other people, almost never directly when talking directly to her.
Please let me know if you find any instances when this happens talking directly to her. (I can remember a couple of them being intentional).

Because sometimes the Name is hardcoded into the script instead of used with a variabel.
I just reviewed the code, and it's never hardcoded for Martha. I use several variables for her:
[Mom]: Mom (incest), Martha (non incest), or custom name (non incest)
[momm]: mom lowercase (incest), Martha (non incest), or custom name (non incest)
[mar]: Martha or custom name regardless of incest

when they are alone in Mc's bedroom he still calls her martha and not mom. while he called the others in ther conversation aunt cousins and sister.

Okay. Thanks for looking at it. I just assumed, because it seems to be the logical case. Guess i was wrong. :ROFLMAO:
