Haha OK I think we got a little carried away. I already have the patch, yes she's mommy. I was referring to what some one else said in this forum. About
Nope not you, that's why I specifically pointed out it was a plot point. Or at least in my mind something that may be integral. We already know about the clones if you read a little or play more than 10 minutes. But you're not 100% sure who the clones are. Well now I know that
It all depends on if you play the patched or unpatched version.
In the unpatched version, your spoiler is right (it already tells you about it in the intro, where you can rename the characters)
In the patched version, your spoiler is wrong. She's your real cousin.
As FatGiant and Elhemeer said, there are two versions of the game (patched/unpatched) with slightly different backgrounds for some of the girls (Martha, Norah, Emma, Daphne, Erika, and five more ladies I won't name because I don't know if you have already met them). Ok, "slightly" is an understatement.
You didn't fuck up taking the call from Edmund. You opened a story arc that will bring into the family another lady (or not, depending on the patched/unpatched state of your game). It's one of the story arcs I'm more fond of.
I hated the "landlady/roommate" thing when I was a player, so I implemented two different stories/backgrounds. I won't say they are two different games, since 95% of it is the same, but it changes a lot of the relationships and some of the dialogues/whole scenes.
When people talk in the forum, they talk about their version (or even what they think will happen in their version) without knowing what happened in the other version.
To mess it up a little less, I did two family trees (the ages of some of the characters are wrong). If you haven't heard of Amanda and Eva, please don't open it. Up-to-date players will miss someone, but it's good for you right now.
Thanks for the clarification. I'm with FatGiant on this one, I'll just pretend the unpatched version doesn't exist. Interesting way to align the two versions in a way that makes sense. But still, yeah, no, what other version? lol

I was going to post this but ran out of time before having to take my kiddo to school, so although it's been clarified now, here's a single screenshot in direct contradiction to what you initially referred to, from the date with Daphne.
FatGiant is a special case... he's basically our 'lovable curmudgeon mascot' around here (and occasional 'attack dog', as warranted), but we see to his care and feeding, so he sticks around...

A little nitpick about your maths.
908 is not divisible by 3. So you can think that not all a,b,and c pictures are blinking ones. I also use a-b-c-(d-e-f-g-h-i-j) for micro-animations (like Amanda kicking Solomon's face, for example), for PoV kisses, for orgasm sequences, for variation of scenes, and for different scenes that I discovered would look nice while I'm rendering, but I don't want to rename every placeholder I coded.
I think that having the characters blink makes them feel more alive. A lot of players have told me they think the same.
Having the miniportraits besides the text showing expressions looks old and lazy, and doesn't cover every expression I want my girls to show.
I'm on the romance path with everyone so far. And as for your explanations... the only thing I can think of is I'm on the Edmund path. I took the call. I hope I didn't fuck everything up. Do we have a choice? Can we just stay ignorantly blissful thinking we all live in Alabama? Lol
