We won in Spain. They put a feminazi in the Ministry of Equality (from the second party on the left, we are becoming like Italy and have a fragmented political spectrum). The equalitarian movement got hit hard because of her views and sentences.
I'm all for equality between genders, but what they are doing (at least in Spain) is trying to change male supremacism for female supremacism. And they don't hide. They say it in the open. "We need to be over men because they have been over us for centuries". I don't share that view.
I don't think people today should pay for what their ancestors did (that applies to men oppressing women until recently, the English conquering half the world, or the Romans in the Mediterranean). Telling the current Italian government to ask forgiveness for what the Romans did is ridiculous (no one does it, but some people in LatAm do that with the Spanish government). Telling today's men that they should be under the women because their ancestors were over them is as ridiculous.
Perhaps I'm too biased because of what's happening in Spain and my views don't apply outside here.
I want my goddaughter to have the same rights (and obligations) as my stepson. Right now there are 700+ (national, regional, or local) laws/norms in Spain that benefit my goddaughter over my stepson. That's not equal rights. And, as I want the exact same rights (and obligations) for men and women, I want the same rights (and obligations) for hetero people and for LGTBI+ people. For people born in Spain and for people born abroad. I want people to accept everyone for who they are, not for the weight of their wallet, their genitals, their sexual preferences, their religion or lack of, their origin, etc.
Does that make me woke? No. That makes me an equalitarian.
Shit! My Dorm is all about acceptance! No one in the game (besides the bad guys) will judge Alexia for being Colombian, Kate for being a lesbian, Kim for having vitiligo, or Jamaal for rolling around in a wheelchair. I even was accused of having an agenda!!
