Interesting, so I'll have to install it. I played a demo and the women are clones and Martha is supposedly like a stepmother, but she doesn't share a bloodline with anyone. Maybe those details will be changed in the game. By the way, I speak Spanish, and the translation work is perfect, not like other translation patches that translate idioms and vocabulary literally and then the narrative doesn't make sense in many scenes. But here I realized that they've done a great job.

As other players said, I'm a native Spaniard, so I write the game in Spanish and translate it into English (and then torture my native English-speaker proofreaders to correct the mess I did).
About the patch, as said above:
-Without the patch Martha is the MC's father's ex-girlfriend, with the patch she's MC's bio mother.
-Emma is a clone of an undisclosed (until later) woman, and with the patch she's MC's sister.
-Norah is the neighbor and Erika/Daphne are clones, with the patch they are MC's aunt (Martha's sister) and cousins.
-Olivia is only Norah's mother, with the patch she is also Martha's mother, so the MC's grandmother.
And some other changes I won't get into in case you haven't arrived at them yet.

Okay... so, pizza is a vegetable (apparently the tomato/marinara sauce makes it so), but only when it's on the lunch menu for U.S. schools, as of 2011, thanks to a conservative Congress that was pushing back against (then) President Obama's Department of Agriculture's strict public school lunch nutrition standards. I don't know if the "(school lunch) pizza is a vegetable" mandate is still in effect, and I'm not going to look it up, because my "political stupidity quota" was exceeded the moment I started reading the article about it, and if I get into it any deeper, I might post something here on the interwebs that would land me on a U.S. national security watch list...

Don't feel bad, I'm probably already on several. Disabled Veteran, had a TS, Outspokenly Leftist... stupid numbers that no one should ever talk about with regard to themselves but are high enough that some folks think they matter, and sadly not nearly as well off as some of those variables would lead you to believe... Also my wife is a second generation American, so I'm directly related to folks who immigrated from other countries.

While the idea of potatoes (gritty, mealy OR too raw) sounds repulsive, I would give it a try on principle. But I would NEVER order anything that made me worried about being taken out in a boat after eating to get shot in the head...

True. But I tried pizza in Italy once and it was the biggest disappointment of my life. I know us Yanks (all of us Americans, not just those assholes in NY who can't even BUY a title these days ) love our big portion sizes, but you know what else we like? FLAVOR! Man that "traditional" pizza tasted like ass.

When I was growing up in NYC, who made pretty much all the pizza I was eating? Italians.

Yeah-but-not-really: they were Italian-Americans selling pizza to us heathens, so obviously they would make what sells where they live. I bet if they made pizza at home it was more like the garbage authentic pizze you would get in Italy, though.

I don't say Italian pizza is the best. I ate better (for my taste) in a lot of places. Even in Italy, it's totally different if you go to the north (my favorite while in Italy), the Rome area (my wife's favorite), or the south. I ate A LOT of pizza in Italy (I've been 56 days tere on different trips). Some were good, some were mediocre, and some were amazing.
I also ate NY-style pizza (made by New Yorkers) in Barcelona (I have never been to NY). It was good but not the best.
The best pizza I ever tried (for my taste) was made by an old woman in a pizzeria in Barcelona (she's retired now ). She never went to Italy, but she would give Italian pizzaiolos a run for their money. But I won't call her pizza "traditional".

I just meant to point out that there is bad pizza everywhere - even in Italy - just like there is probably good pizza everywhere. [NY-style is vastly overrated and generally flavorless, unless thin and grreasy are your thing.]

I am definitely a bit of a pizza snob, I will admit, so I don't often give a 2nd chance to any ristorante (fool me once...). But it is by far my favorite food when done even adequately. So much so that I sometimes find myself thinking in pizza-centric calendar time. Not A.D. or B.C., not b.c.e. or c.e., nor even years-after-the-Death-of-Himmel-the-Hero, but "d.s.l.p." If that reckoning climbs above 14 then I am probably significantly more surly than usual.

[NY-style is vastly overrated and generally flavorless, unless thin and grreasy are your thing.]

I am definitely a bit of a pizza snob, I will admit, so I don't often give a 2nd chance to any ristorante (fool me once...). But it is by far my favorite food when done even adequately. So much so that I sometimes find myself thinking in pizza-centric calendar time. Not A.D. or B.C., not b.c.e. or c.e., nor even years-after-the-Death-of-Himmel-the-Hero, but "d.s.l.p." If that reckoning climbs above 14 then I am probably significantly more surly than usual.

My shoulder injury hasn't allowed me to knead pizza dough since 2021, but I did it for years Sunday on, Sunday off. And the off-Sunday weeks, it was time for Pizza Friday. Now, Pizza Friday is still every two weeks (I can't convince my wife to do it more often), so that's my pizza schedule if I don't get one while working. We have 4-5 pizzerias (not all of them Italian-run) that we flexibly rotate during a two-month schedule.
I like to try things when it comes to pizza. Two years ago a Detroit-style place opened not far from home and I annoyed my wife until we got there and tried it. Never again. Not our style. She wanted to try the NY-style. I knew it wasn't going to be her thing, but why not? We went, tried it, I enjoyed it, she didn't. It's 10 minute walking from my job, so when I'm in the mood I go there alone.
As I said, the best pizza I tasted (for me) was that old woman's. The best pizza I tried in Italy was in Milan, in an unknown trattoria in a neighborhood far from the city center and the tourist places. The weirdest pizza I tried was in Asturias (northwest Spain); it had penne, crisp bacon flakes, and a white sauce. It was surprisingly delicious!

I'm on the "Even if it isn't good it's still pizza" club.

For dietary reasons I'm on a Pizza "maybe once a year" schedule, that I absolutely can't respect. So, now I've found my favorite Pizza. Never any Pizza tasted this good. It's "Sneaky Pizza" and it's mostly any cheap one from either the frozen or fresh supermarket alleys. It doesn't really matter, you know... So, maybe once every 2 months I have this extravagant dish, usually during the small hours of the night when everyone's sleeping... Tastes like subversion. It's wonderful.

I have to hear their disappointment next morning, but, happy tummy says "Yeah!".

So, you guys argue all day and night about what is best, I'm out of that. I'll have mine in any weird flavor I can, while I can, if I can. That's all.

Now, Miss Betty, if we went out for dinner, would you prefer Wine or Beer with our Pizza? That's way more relevant...

I'll never understand what anyone finds offensive about ranch, I will quite happily put it on quite a lot of food, but usually I don't, I'm not actually really a saucy dude. My wife, now she's a saucy lady and drenches everything... but she hates ranch! I need to move about 3-4 hours north then I'll be in a food mecca... I just can't afford to live there atm. So it's lame restaurant life, and saving for trips to actual places of culture.
