You don't really need to give that much thoughts on it! :)
You like some, you don't like others, that's perfectly, and the reason why there are several types of games... because there are several types of players, like you said.

In my case, as you said, I've tried most of the list.
Some lasted two clicks before uninstalling because I knew it wasn't my thing.
Others, I kept playing a bit more, because there's a general feel you like... but what you're really looking never appears.
Others I simply skipped because I knew from the go that I wasn't interested at all.
And then, few games I keep playing because it has most (if not all) of what I like.

As you said, character development is important (at least to me too).
Toffisama stuff is certainly not my thing, aside of futas. The platformer is good (i won't say extraordinary), but yes, it's like "yeesh, when do I get a good scene?", and when you do, is not what I really care, and have to "suffer" another level to see the next scene. So basically, played the first level like 4 times, got tired, and simply went to look the save and edit the unlocks to see everything. Well, in the end, none of the scenes were interesting for me. And the platformer-beat'em up game is not that good, is pretty basic.

Something similar happens with visual novels: unless the writing and characters are really good, it's an endless clicking of next dialog, which builds up anticipation and never comes.
A good example is Good Girl Gone Bad; is not futa, but everyone and their mothers regard it as one of the best RenPy game. But after nearly 45 minutes on endless clicking and picking options, hand't see anything remotely erotic or even sexy. It's just "do I call her or not?", "do I pick this or that", etc... basically, just the regular life of a girl which supposedly builds up to be a good or bad. 45 minutes, and literally nothing.
On the other hand, I tried Healslut. Barely any feedback, and after 15 minutes I was absolutely hooked up. And the futa on it is an optional path (which I fucking loved it). I find it to be that good, that eventually went back and pick the other options, even when they didn't had any type of interest for me.

In the end, after trying lots and lots, I just keep playing LifePlay, and sometimes Lilith's Throne and Degrees of Lewdity. Not because they're mindblowing games, but because I can "build" what I want, and keep playing without worring it will end (like a visual novel), but that's just me.

Now, about keeping the list?

Well, what would be the point of doing a list of games you -personally- enjoyed, and there's actually a few?
Might as well just post "loved this game" in their respective posts. ;)

I think the point of this thread now, is to give some hints or guidelines to people that is looking futa content, more or less on your line (no untranslated, no males, etc etc). It doesn't really matters if you personally didn't fully enjoyed it, someone else might do, and that's what matter when you do a list!

I found Healslut because of this list, which I'm grateful because I love it. I also found Futa Forest, which can't be even considered a game, but is very useful to learn RenPy for newbies like me, which I'm grateful too. Of all the games listed, I just play LifePlay, but I don't lose anything by trying others to see what I find... after all, if a new game doesn't fits my "needs", I can simply go back to the ones I really like.

I guess what I'm trying to say, is that "your" list of favourites or interesting or "worth checking", has become everyone's list of "let's take a look".
Keep updating the list, yo don't lose anything, and even if you immediately know it's not for you, but fits the criteria, it might be ok for others. Consider it your contribution to the site or other players :D

After you talked about Healslut here I went and downloaded it and I am really enjoying it so far, so thanks for mentioning it.

Glad to be of help! :D
I found it to be incredible. Among the best in character development and dialogs, if not the best I've played.

My recommendation would be to do a first run (save often!) playing as you truly want/feel.
Then, take a look at the wiki or walktrough, and read the details of the path you chose.
It's pretty easy to miss on good content (that you might want better than the options you chose), and that would be my only critic to the game. Sometimes options aren't that clear, or your choice turns away completely of what you want/expected (often going the exact opposite lol).
Check the walkthrough to get the exact outcome and do a "perfect run" (and save in case you want to see them later again)
After a few tries with the "adjusted" choices/path (opposite to critic, sometimes each option are great and you will want to go back and see the others), do alternative paths (those you might not want, and even the ones you're not interested at all)

After doing runs with several paths (and picking all characters), you'll start to see the big picture, often finding certain "uninteresting" characters to be incredibly complex.

Thank you all for the feed back and kind words. I've thought it over a lot and I've come to the decision that I no longer want to continue this list. I'm editing the title and the top of the post to make it clear that this list is abandoned and will no longer be updated. Thanks again for the understanding and kindness.

Also, will you be starting a new list? It would be great if you do, but it's fine if not.

I'm the type of person who has to play with a walkthrough from the beginning so that I can perfectly optimise my playthrough, but after that, I like to go back and play other routes.

I came here searching new games to play, and I will give a chance to healslut thanks to the last comments.

Do you know any other good futa games to play? Preferred to be animated, just like lust city, the best game i played so far.

You can read every page here because most of them recommend a few games. Some of the recommended games are in the list.

If you want a futanari game that is similar to lust city and healslut, check out fantasy dating.

If you want to play games with an emphasis on story, check my comment a few pages back.

I thought this list was abandoned? What happened?
It’s still basically abandoned. If I see a really good game I may add it in, but don’t expect anything. I found God’s Call a little bit ago, and it’s just simply to good of a game to not advertise. It deserves as many people to see it and give it a chance as possible. That being said, and not wanting to dwell on negativity too much, I will quickly explain that between the time this list was officially abandoned to now, this was the only futanari game that I enjoyed. Games like God’s Call, Eternum, Pale Carnations, etc that you play and can just tell “wow, this developer really put a lot into this to try to make it as best as he/she could. They tried to tell a story” really deserve the spotlight as much as possible.
