Regarding the smaller updates, there are a lot of games like that here, so I tend to skip a few and play a bigger chunk of updates so I am not getting a few minutes here and there. It's hard to watch the updates come out and not play, but definitely worth it when going to play longer. Like in many things, its a balance.

People will hate me for this but I need an extra day and release tomorrow instead. I'm very sorry, I was already in the process of making save files and then uploading, but issues have come up that require too many hours from me. Oh man I'm actually starting to feel bad for the dev. It seems like he is having a lot of stress, probably more than is considered healthy. I get it that people pay money on a monthly basis so they expect results but I just hope that the people on subscribestar don't get too mad at him, because the last thing I want is for the dev to have a meltdown or anything like that.

Said it before and I will say it again - stop making release date estimates. Maybe do a progress bar, but don't actually tell people x day, x week or x month. You get nothing for being accurate and you get shit if you miss the deadline.

i think so too, it's hard to predict the exact date, so i think dev should change the calculation, for example "in about 5 days or less", it will be better than now, do dev more stressful, and players are disappointed if not on schedule like now

and the devs also don't let the players know the progress of the game, only posting a few pictures from time to time, i think the devs should really reflect on this

I think Headpat's been doing fine. More than fine, even, given it's very clear they're doing their best to get us an update. Far as I'm concerned, there's nothing they need to reflect over. Sometimes things take longer than expected, that's just life.

I understand the whole situation and stuff, but it's still pretty sad. My only day off was Saturday and the update time was just perfect, now...well, yeah. It is better to indicate very blurry graphs than this

Alot of Headpats headaches are self proposed. Bro told the people in December that it would be out on January. Always saying its nearly done when it isn't. The backlash is very much earned.

Even more, after the rough release of act two, I can vaguely remember a smaller, but more frequent update regime being planned for. Which never happened. So yeah, a real architect of his own demise kinda thing.

I also proposed several times to him to just post plain numbers on how much art is done/missing/needs adjusting on a regular basis, as that seemed to be the main delaying factor. It would also help set decent release expectations. All of which got seemingly ignored. I'm sure they are all decent people, but understanding can only be stretched so much
