That was actually the first good ending we got. Right near the start of the game, you need to choose not to let her join MiniTV. You get a "they lived happily ever after" kind of ending, where you and Mio have kids together.

I thought that too, maybe he took the photos with Akemi or something like that, still, since is an ending, I think the Dev may explain it further, I mean, are just routes, is not really important if the MC knows the truth behind the "happy ending" as long as the readers know it

i'll be honest, the premise of exposing the gf on a gooner streaming service was interesting. the premise of her doing "fan collabs" was interesting. Mio becoming gradually more permissive towards lewd requests because of the financial incentive, the perversion of her desire to make a career out of streaming. The Akemi sub-plot was only interesting because "what if Mio is actually Akemi?" means that Mio is actually much more corrupt than the MC knows, and feeds the paranoia.

Ota being a cunning mastermind at war with the MC for Mio's love is not interesting. there are so many VNs with better versions of that story, about some guy that comes in and subverts a loyal gf. it shifts the focus away from her corruption to some external focus. i don't give a shit about Ota dude, this is soap opera bullshit

it couldn't be. because yamato not only watched the stream, he even made a question AND got answered by akemi. all while mio is sleeping by his side. so it's not possible, if the dev make them be the same person it'll be through the BIGGEST bullshit ever, thus, ruining the narrative

I didn't read the whole story, but did Ota really have sex with Mio? or it's just teasing. im really confused when MC told Mio it's okay and Mio sends a pictures that she naked with Ota ( );
the picture in the Ota room (Blond hair) is "actually" Mio?;
and the picture that Mio naking in Ota room(on the picture frame), Mio actually sends him a picture or i'm just blurring

Ok, so I have to give an opinion in here. I am not that much into the genres of this VN but this one captivated me because it was extremely well written. There was a lot of doubt, and you never knew the actual truth. That created a great atmosphere. The characters were perfect and the last update before this one set a very good tone because she actually went to Ota's house, you got those messages from him, you listened behind the door, and it created a great thing because then, even when confronted, it looked like she actively lied to you, that you could be upfront with her and she got mad and lied to you, and it was great because it augmented that atmosphere of never knowing what is and what is not true.

This last updated absolutely crushed that, because it gave incredibly convoluted explanations to get Mío off the hook, with totally implausible and out of character things just to make her be the good perfect girlfriend so cliché in anime.

So she has gone from being a realistic character with human flaws that always kept you on the edge of your seat to the flat anime girl that you know is always trustworthy, that no matter what it may seem from the outside, there is always an incredibly silly explanation that exculpates her. So goodbye suspense and doubt. It killed the entire NTR thing and half the game's route in two silly chapters.

I really hope the creator rethinks it and remakes that part of the route because it totally wrecked an otherwise nice writing and characters.

From what I understand, Akemi is not Mio. The route where you continously not believing her, it shows in the latter part where Yamato watched Akemi's latest stream. He recognized the background and remembered it's the same background of the pic Ota sent to him. So Yamato browsed to the previous Akemi streams and that's where he found that Ota was once Akemi's top donor where the prize is having sex with Akemi. Yamato realized the pics came from that stream. At this point Yamato realized that Mio is not Akemi and she was telling the truth from the beginning. Yamato decided to go back home and talk to Mio. However, it's already too late as he saw Mio finally having sex with Ota. Mio's reason is Yamato was neglecting her for 5months already and she reached the limit where she needs confort, even if it will come from someone else. That route ended as a sad NTR as Yamato cannot accept the outcome and left Mio.

Well, not sad at all... As after few days or weeks it shows that Yamato went to Mio's mother, and he comfronted her about her own secret streaming (looking forward for this event, btw, lol).

Yeah this is 100% confirmed now idk if people missed this or what. She's just another streamer that looks like Mio and that's it. She was just a plot device to at first kick start Yamato's confession and then for Ota to trick him and cause a rift between him and Mio
