AFAIK it's gonna be continued, but for now the dev wants to focus on developing the other routes.

I think so. If not, the next one after. But yes, the dev wanted to leave the current route alone for a bit, since it's pretty advanced by now.

I believe the recent updates over the past 4 or 5 have caused the game to attract increasing attention. However, given the amount of story content added with each update, working on a different route will likely disappoint new supporters, because the tension that has already been building up so far, will dissipate by exploring new routes, I fear it might make it anticlimactic and reduce my interest at that moment.

That’s why I think it would be better for me to wait 3 or 4 updates after the next release, before revisiting the game. But also, since this is a work in progress, it's not really surprising to have unfinished promissing stuff.

Of course, that’s just me lowering my expectations and speculating, I can't deny this game has became one of my favorites so far and it has surprised me many times already.

Observing the recent pace of previous releases, I would expect it happens on 11th, since it has been every 14 days and another 14 for official free release, but it's not a rule so... Who knows.
