omg i love this game, the way mio is so supportive and tries to stop it if yamato is hurt is so good, i hope ota's route stays in sharing and doesnt end up in netorare and he stealing her

1. Yamato noted that Akemi uses a voice changer.
2. Yamato noted that streams CAN be pre-recorded and not live, even as he donated with a question while Mio was sleeping right next to him.
3. Yamato's donation was under the same username he uses to moderate Mio's stream. If Akemi was Mio, pretty sure she would have made some kind of pause or reaction that would've been noticed by Yamato. At least enough to keep the doubt going.
4. Mio said "no" to both questions Yamato asked (if she knew or was related to Akemi). She could be lying, but we don't have anything else to go on. We know nothing about Mio's relationship with her family. So it's hard to say. Viviny could be keeping it hidden until they decide to delve into that.

These are evidence to support the Mio=Akemi claim. But... Her behavior with Yamato suggests otherwise. I posted this in the discord:

You forgot the part where the picture she sent to "just MC" was still framed in his room when you go over for dinner. So she either left it when she "set up the room," or... she sent it to him too.

I think part of what makes this route more uncomfortable for some people is that Yamato is SO gung-ho about sharing her that Mio seems lowkey turned off by it. Yamato continually insisting that she up the ante and moving towards NTS might just provoke her into breaking off the relationship entirely.

put yourself in her perspective for a minute. she's bombarded by sexual commentary whenever she streams. she grew up to maturity with that body and all the attention it gets. she might not necessarily be all that interested in having sex with randos. she chose to be with yamato presumably for a reason, and now all he ever talks about is her having sex with someone else...

i think that the scenario as presented from the beginning of the game is clever for that reason. unlike a lot of these games, Mio has gotten enough characterization to avoid being a complacent sex-bot for the fetish content

Ell that is the corruption that is happening and is the spice in these games if the girl always agrees to do what you want without any hesitation then honestly whats the point in it ?
Just to see her have sex with someone else that will get stale real fast but the corruption happening and she becoming more lewd and horny and a bit risky makes it hot and not boring like nts phone

My post in your quotes was about if Mio is Akemi. Not about if Mio is/was cheating on Yamato with Ota. I could make another list of evidence for that, but I'm also waiting for update 12.1 (which will address the sudden ending of 12.0) before I commit to another round of theorizing.

I agree in part. One theory on the discord was that Mio is trying to push Yamato off NTS because she gets off on hard NTR instead, hence why she was so good with teasing. I mean, she took away the condoms to heighten the teasing... Or did she actually end up using them? Who can say. There's evidence to support or contradict if she's been cheating on Yamato or not. And that, my friends, is a whole other discussion. Seriously, check out the discord if you can. Theory channel is chock-full of discussion.

That said, yeah, getting so much attention like that probably gets old. It would explain why she was so excited to roleplay with Yamato. She could play with the fantasy without actually committing to the real act. Only for Yamato to be a Grade-A douche and push her into it.

I actually agree with this as the story has progressed with yamato it feels more like he sees Mio more as a tool to fuel/enable his fetish , yes there are moments where they have clear "couple" moments but they are outweighed by yamato's clear push towards the fetish this coupled with the fact that he has to spend time away for work

I would not be surprised if the fetish cools somewhat then Mio naturally starts cheating of her own accord or just ending the relationship as at the moment yamato is really only thinking about himself

Or something more rare where Ota does in a way but Yamato wants it and Mio knows he wants that
