Definitely one of the better games I've played, even though I'm not into NTR. By the way, I know you don't need a Patreon; you could use it to promote other adult artists that you like. Good stuff all around; keep up the good work.

Insanely well crafted. If you like NTR this Novel might just test you cause FUCK is it a rollercoaster of emotion.

i have great respect for SC Stories for putting storytelling and actual depth FIRST rather than just fucking. Feels like a drama TV mini series meets Cinemaxxx Can’t wait to see where it goes.

My review of "My Husband's Boss" [v0.2].

To preface this entire review, I have to quickly explain the reason for my 3/5 rating: I feel responsible to balance out the numerous 5/5 ratings, which are unfounded - the game is excellent, and it deserves a solid 4/5, but it very much has its fair share of flaws which keep it from being a "masterpiece" deserving of the perfect rating.


Now, to the review:


Stop me if you've seen this scenario play out before: Man fucks up & loses a lot of money, his livelihood is on the line, and the entire family might end up destitute. In walks the wife, confident they can resolve this issue by addressing the boss directly. And so the pair hatch a devious plan, to use the wife's sexuality as a means of securing the husband's position, and avoid money problems. However, what starts out as a simple evening, turns into a dangerous whirlwind of lust and love, when the wife is not-so-subtly blackmailed into performing sexual favours for the boss... all in exchange for the aforementioned prosperity.


These NTR stories are a dime a dozen, aren't they? Well, My Husband's Boss is a shining example of a cliche done right - a wonderful retreading of familiar elements explored deeper than usual, filled with refreshingly nuanced characters.

First off, the husband, the male MC: on surface, he looks to be your run-of-the-mill corporate drone, married to a woman completely out of his league, yet firmly in the throes of a thriving marriage. And in your run-of-the-mill NTR AVN, he would be the usual "cuckolded" man, forced to helplessly watch another man take pleasure in his wife. And while this MC fills that role, it is merely a ceremonial one; Hutch is a regular man, plagued by deep insecurities upon learning his wife might sexually enjoy another man more than he ever thought possible. He despairs, but does not whimper. He tries to understand, but never blames anyone but himself. He may appear passive & submissive to the wants of other people in his life, but he is clearly a man on edge. What he is not, however, is a cuck.

The wife is an equally multi-faceted character: At first glance, she is your stereotypical loving wife to the MC, and a caring mother to her adult son. When she learns of the imminent danger to her family, she offers a solution that would end up extracting a much larger toll than she could've anticipated - and thus, the proverbial Pandora's Box is opened. Now, to be completely honest, the wife is not the most compelling character in this play, and she suffers from a lot of unreasonable flaws in an otherwise grounded story:

• Her physical appearance is at odds with the role she is supposed to play. Nose piercings and tattoos are hardly the usual medals of honor of a suburban housewife, let alone a high school teacher. And her choice of rather revealing everyday (and professional) attire betrays a repressed promiscuous personality, something not yet confirmed by the story, yet I suspect will eventually be proven true... though I dearly hope not. I hope I don't have to explain why witnessing the corruption of innocence is a more attractive prospect than watching a born-again virgin descend down the figurative ladder she kept stowed away.
• Her emotional turmoil is devalued by a constant stream of strange decisions regarding the affair. While not exactly non-sensical, they do leave me scratching my head afterwards, as I feel I must've misunderstood some part of the scene before me. But alas, I did not, and I wonder why the author decided to have the wife weep from guilt in one moment, then sniff her lover's shirt but a few later.
  • And if this was but one such instance, maybe I wouldn't mention it at all - but there are, unfortunately, several such examples throughout this plot, so far. And, what is obviously meant to tug at the viewer's heartstrings, now only feels like an empty echo of what is intended to be. I can't make myself believe she feels this guilt, because she keeps repeating the same mistakes.
• Her personality is tragically overplayed in this genre. The suspension of disbelief necessary to forgive her naivety in dealing with various classical "NTR" scenarios is just laughable. For someone portrayed as filling the more dominant role in her marriage, it makes no sense that she could be so... out of tune with how the world works, and what some men are really saying to her.
  • As an example: during her brief visit to her son's college dormitory, she indulges the inappropriate behaviour of his friends - which are clearly only trying to "cop a feel". Not only does she not realize this, she berates her son when he attempts to protect her honor from these perverts. *Slaps forehead*

The Bossman: probably the most interesting actor in this theater of pain, second only to the husband. He is narcissistic, manipulative, and deplorable - but also charming, assertive, and silver-tongued: he knows what he wants, and how to get it. Even with all this, he is not hateful, nor is he a villain. Just a hedonistic opportunist, hell bent on peeling back every wall of this morally tormented woman that is melting in his arms. At times, he even appears to be genuinely "friendly" to MC (or at the very least, positively indifferent to him), that is, when he is not trying to goad the man into deepening the rift in his marriage. Still, there is no malice here. The bossman seduces the wife because she is a "gorgeous caged bird" to him - the typical unsatisfied wife, married to a man who can't possibly ever rise to the level of deserving her attention. Hence why he actually actively works to further his lustful goals, instead of waiting for the MC to make the "inevitable" wrong move... again.

All in all, MHB is a fantastic, 4/5 piece of NTR material, but there are several flaws hampering it: a momentous jumping of the shark in the first part, a leading lady with an annoyingly inconsistent pattern of behaviour, and a husband whose efforts to maintain control over the situation are clearly in vain.

If there is one more thing I must warn potential players of this "game", it's that, seemingly, a lot of different 'types' of NTR partners have been teased for the wife. And given the boldly presented kinetic nature of this novel, I fear the end result of this fascinating narrative may indeed fall flat on its face - with a loving wife who irrevocably becomes the "village whore". The developer promises a "surprising ending", but I would still err on the side of scepticism for this one. Only time will tell.

This game is absolutely out of standard box usually shown here. Starting on graphic going thru scenes and story line is so awsome its hard to believe that its been posted here for free coase we know lot of sh*** games selling on steam way worst than this one is. Have to say to autor, super job and please continue doing another games or more stories like this - big fan of your work!

Meh.... The renders are great, models are mostly unique and the story is well written. It also gives you plenty of information in the overview and the tags to give you a really good idea of what you are in for.

So what is my problem? The story. The initial premise is stupid and the rest of the story and all of her actions are based on the stupid and silly decisions at the start of the story. And since this is a kinetic novel, I thought I would be a little harder on it than others. There are spoilers to follow so if you don't want any then you should probably just stop here.

First of all, the husband doesn't know for sure he is losing his job and his wife jumps into action. If I were the husband, I would be freaking FURIOUS if my wife interfered like she does. Granted, I don't know their history, but the husband was apparently the top salesman until just recently so he can't be that much of a loser. I mean, it's not the end of the world to lose a job... at least not yet. They certainly were not desperate enough for the wife to even consider what she is doing.

Anyway, it just goes downhill from there. Just another corruption story with the FMC being a total idiot and making one dumb decision after another. Frankly, the blackmail is all her fault and she just should have kept her nose out of it.

I have yet, in any of these AVNs with blackmail, found any really strong reason to capitulate to the blackmail and this one is no different. I mean, give your husband the chance to go out and find another job or start his own business. At least wait until your home is about to be foreclosed on or he comes down with cancer or something to make the FMC desperate enough to consider it. Not the threat he might lose his job.

Whatever.

It's a solid production and the dev is talented and others seem to like it or not really care about the setup too much so download it yourself. It's totally worth the download to check it out and make up your own mind.

Very good story, well elaborated even though some steps seem to be forced for a specific result. It would be great to see the development of the other stories along the principle, there could be an interesting proposition.
Dialogues not so long or with nonsense, they've been calibrated for the correct situations the characters are facing there.

I usually don't review games .. maybe it's my laziness.
But in this case I have to make an exception and give all my compliments to the game developer. Graphics and plot are exceptional ... 5 stars !!!. And to think that I'm not even a fan of "cheating" games ... But I can really only give many more compliments and hope that the developer will be successful and supported to continue on this brilliant path. I must say that from the high number of reviews and all positive obtained in just 2 days (!!!!!) the premises are fantastic.

I feel like I've been looking my whole life for this story. Unbelievably good. I've got my hopes on where and how the story progresses, but at this point I leave the story in the hands of its creator, and can't wait to see the next episode.

This is a masterclass in human emotions, every once and a while you find a gem hidden in this forum, this is one of them.

As for the usual, great renders, ambiance, it takes its time to develop and bring you on for the scene, a visual novel in the true sense.

I don't normally play female protag games, but I've been trying to broaden my knowledge of certain kinks recently, and although I do like some, this isn't one of them.

The art and writing are really well done, and it could have been possibly my favourite female protag game so far, but she wasn't corrupted at all.

The dev spends a decent amount of time building and showing the love between the husband and wife, where you can tell they really love each other... then she just fucks the boss? This didn't feel like any NTR game I've played; she just cheated and made me feel like shit for the guy. If she was corrupted a little more, then maybe, but... nah, I wasn't a fan of this.

PROS:

1. Decent looking MILF but the husband looks a little misshapen IMO.
2. Animations are pretty good
3. Writing is solid and structured well
4. Story is simple enough but told in a compelling way which is usually the benefit of a kinetic as in this case.
5. Music and sounds are present and not bad, sexual sounds are not many but there is the odd slap on the ass sound etc which are done well.

CONS:

1. While models are decen't they not all consistent, I suppose the husband being the ugly duckling is to make the whole NTR cuck thing more tolerable?
2. Not much in terms of lewd or kink rather and the lewd that are there are not bad but not explicit. I believe it focuses more on the story than need to go hardcore into the porn aspects of things, though its a bit of a shame.

FINAL THOUGHTS & SUGGESTIONS:

• The more explicit scenes would be nice sure but I think due to the game still "warming up" the dev is taking it a bit slower. So this may turn into some fun kinky stuff later. Since the wife does not use protection, I am curious to know if pregnancy will be a kink in this game, as I see plenty of potential LIs for the wife who is in many ways the MC in the game.
• Overall its not bad, I gave it a 4, its closer to 3, but I believe a good amount of effort went into this and it is not over the top, pretentious or shallow, there is a good amount of human complexity here that does warrant some praise IMO.

This game is Excellent!

Good writing, the story is believable; it's not rushed.

The render quality is amazing !

Only nit-pick is that the auto-transitions are tidbit too slow.

My Husband's Boss is one of the best NTR games I have played in the past three years, with a very realistic plot, delicate emotions, beautiful modeling of the heroine and very enjoyable sex scenes. The three protagonists in the game are not mentally retarded. On the contrary, the plot unfolds very logically. It's just that the heroine's husband, because of the heavy burden of reality, has led his wife and himself to the point where they are manipulated by her boss. I also observed that the author left a lot of foreshadowing for this work. As a first edition, this game can be said to be almost perfect. I am looking forward to the author's next update.

This game is nothing short of brilliant! The Dev's use of facial expressions is extraordinary eliminating the need for dialog to portray the emotions this game brings out. I had to stop and walk away a few times to reconnect with the real world because I was so overwhelmed emotionally. I love Netorase games and this is the best I've ever encountered. If you like NTR, NTRs games play this one!

God damn, I really didn't expect it to be so REAL.
The thing that broke me is when Vivian understood what's coming for her as her husband couldn't say a word about the task he supposed to prepare in front his boss... And after the wild night, when she needed support the most, her husband turned on his defensive mechanism to close in himself, assuming, that his wife slept with the boss out of selflessness, not out of desperation the situation she is in. And then, as a cherry on top, tried to call Hutch just him to simply left her hanging in total misery. And I still haven't even reached the end of this version.

There also nitpicks here and there about future possible candidates for stealing wife of our protagonist, but the main villain of the story looks solid. I сould declare with my whole heart I (almost) never haven't seen this more masterful depiction type of a cheating story not only in games, but in storytelling in general. Kudos to SC Stories and looking forward for future releases!

Update: played till the end. At last things played out surprisingly naturally, setting base for future all-out show as both parties came into an agreement to be a full part of it. Vivian got no restrains! That's more spicy situations for us.

Excellent game. The game has a very well developed plot, with parts that made me feel anxious on what would have happened in the next scenes. The three main characters are deep and their relations are very complex and, at the same time disturbing. The graphs are very good. Loved the game and can't wait to play the next part.

Amazing and powerfull story.Great visuals and its like watching a movie.You can feel the emotions through them and watch a great drama unfolding.It really plays on your emotions.Felt heartbroken and angry and sorry for the characters.So much emotions like a good movie.And hell the theme isnt even one i usually whould like.Cant wait where the Dev takes us.

I think it's the best start to the game I've ever seen, excellent job, I'll look forward to seeing how this develops.
I hope the updates are followed, because I need to know how the story continues.
I don't know what else to put to make the 200 characters, I just want to leave my five stars.

The directing work in the game is one of the best things I've seen so far. I was surprised at the relatively large download for version 0.2.

But the developer really takes the time to convey the emotions of the actors, even in small details and appropriate framing, and so you find yourself reading the entire dialogue, even if you've basically seen the story a few times and you can read it in In other games it is often skipped after the first lines of dialogue. But here we experience a similar quality to that in "A perfect Marriage" and even more so in terms of the production.
But in my opinion there remains unused potential. Because the time that was initially used for the production and the introduction of the characters no longer seems to have been available halfway through.
What starts with clever psychological games from the boss fizzles out very quickly. I then miss any corruption part, as if the dev wanted to get to the end quickly. There is no real slow approach, testing limits. No real emotional chaos on the part of the wife. The situation is so completely dull that it is unrealistic and lost me. It's a real shame, I'm sure the developer is really good at it and should have taken a lot more time for the most important part of the story.
