Some people have commented on the looks (only in the game, not the previews) between Vivian and Marcel and the comments about him "saving a seat" for her at the basketball match. I don't take this as anything pointing at a history between them, it's almost certainly just him having a crush on a teacher, and possibly having a high enough opinion of himself that he thinks he actually has a chance with her. Obviously, with events that have happened since then, and how these games normally go, you'd say he maybe does have a chance going forwards, but I personally don't think he had a chance previously.

It could just be a crush. Maybe Marcel will have a chance later in the story to have more intimate scenes with Vivian - or he could just be introduced as a filler character. Future updates will reveal more information either way.

the other characters are just fluff/made for filler purposes and don't actually have any sexual bearing on Vivian in the story and are merely just there for teasing/light corruption purposes here and there.

having read all the back and forth conversations in the thread i have only one thing to say, the missing pics that are not in the vn but in the game files... there are a few of them and one of them is about marcel(or someone who looks like him). here are those pics

could be a crush from her past she was reminiscing about and might be explained by the dev in the next update explaining her mindset and/or change in her view on the disaster she caused in their marriage.

in quyxote defense ... this vn has varying reactions on different people...he focused on that aspect of the vn... and yes you are also right. some people don't get vivian's dilema or crazy logic vivian is using to explain her actions or justifying them. its different for others we will only understand a part of it after we get the next update about vivian's mindset. and later on about hutch's mindset as the dev stated.

Though I would be more willing to accept that interpretation, it's not like this is what Hutch wanted his wife to do. He repeatedly told Vivian through text and at home that he did not want her to accompany him to the boss' home. He continued to express misgivings about her being around his boss on the way there, and even at one point after arriving, he commented that he did not want to grovel for his job and suggested leaving. And he obviously did not foresee that his wife would offer herself to his boss and was devastated by witnessing this happen.

As for him being a loser, I suppose it's possible he may lose his wife and would be a loser in that sense. However, it's a matter of debate how much of his fault that would be, and I would not say he is a loser in general. Sure, he had problems at work, but he must have held a steady job throughout his decades of marriage and raising a son. He did not actively try to put his wife in a situation that would lead to exposing her latent vulnerability. He did not choose for her to do what she did; she made that choice for them.

Absolutely nothing in the story so far points to this. Is is quite clear beyond doubt, Hutch is not getting any enjoyment out of this predicament. The pain and disgust is quite evident in his actions and interactions towards Vivian.

Things might change further on regarding this, although I don't think so. We shall see what the Dev has install for us.

She did not offer herself as much as she let herself to be taken by the boss. And of course he grasped every step of that process sitting next to it and doing nothing. Do you think he didn't know what it meant to "show the wife the house" while he had to sit there and do his humiliating homework?
Being a cuck doesn't only mean planning to offer your wife but also letting her being taken while you are present, saying and doing nothing, not even distancing yourself and leaving. This is what a cuck is, somebody who lets this happen to his girl or wife without even protesting and accepting it later for future events. If we don't call it what it is,, the word loses it's meaning.

Besides I don't see any reason to hesitate calling him that. We can try to understand it psychologically. Weeks ago I wrote a lenthy post here doing just that.
