He's depicted as one to the point of caricature after the garden scene. A guy with some personality will impose himself to leave the house after what he saw at the garden and confront her wife. Instead he doesn't open his mouth, knowing what's coming after. Even after the bathroom scene, he doesn't want to confront her wife.

I haven't finished playing yet but from what I seen she is probably one of my favorite characters lookwise when it comes to short hair and I usually dislike short hair. Tho the tramp stamp might have something to do with it as I have a bit of a bias and love tramp stamps

In the story, yes, but taking that to an absolute level is where it gets unrealistic. It's one thing to say "if you dont do X I'm going to fire you", so he acquiesces. It's quite another thing to say "I'm gonna bone your wife and ruin your life if you dont want to get fired", and he goes along with it.

I can certainly see how one may perceive him that way. Yet, I took it as shock. He was in utter shock. A shock can cause an almost mental paralysis whereby decision making, reason etc becomes moot. The brain loops and cannot comprehend what it witnessed nor have the capacity to process. The mind then begins to rationalize to lessen the impact on the psyche. The boss masterfully manipulated this when he spoke to the husband in the parking lot. I believe it wasn't a lack of spine or grit when he proposed his solution to his wife. He would rather give her what he thinks she may want than lose her. It is their bond, despite the betrayal, that makes this so compelling.

Well Vivian says to Christian in the bathroom that Hutch sometimes takes a while to get going and sometimes needs to take a blue pill. Plus it seems like he's seen a sexual side of his wife that he's never seen before, when he saw her and heard her fucking Christian.
