Glad to see a lot of passion in the comments still. Everyone has grand visions for the future and some strong opinions on how to achieve that. I'm still confident my story is on 'the road less traveled' and is a new take on an old genre.

I did not set out to make this perfectly believable. As Tony showed, that would have been a very short and boring story. If you want real life I recommend the customer service line at Walmart. None of my favorite movies would pass for real life but are entertaining none the less. That's all I hope to convey here... an entertaining story. You can be unrealistic but still have a good story with realistic dialog and good production value within that unrealistic world. I don't pretend to know the psychology of a man or a woman nor do I believe they'd react the way I portray them. Maybe I'm misreading some of the posts but if anyone is actually angry because real people wouldn't act this way, I simply ask they enjoy the story for what it is... a story. If you hate that everyone is unlikable and there is no one to root for, I recommend you dip out now because you won't like where this is heading. I stated early on that I create this for myself and share just to give back. I'm not chasing patreon subscribers or steam sales so while I'm happy others are enjoying this, I'm not influenced by outside suggestions.

I'm perfectly fine with a fan art thread, I'm just not ready for perfect Vivian clones out there and perhaps people getting confused about what is cannon and what is fan fiction. Therefore, I won't share many details but yes, she is G8 Charity. Hopefully there is enough action in my game people won't need to do to MHB what they did to AWAM. But when this project is finished I might upload her as a complete package for others to play with or maybe create sequels/prequels. If people have questions about other specific assets (character or set pieces) private message me and I'll get back to you. I will say I use several hair products from OOT(out of touch) and WF(winfield). Should be easy to find.

Still actively working on it. Previous time estimate is still reasonably accurate. TRying to get done what I can while weather still poor. Once it warms up I'll slow down because of life. No more sneak peaks (they'll just give away the plot). Leaving in the 'auto advance' feature. I know it's unpopular but my #1 fan likes it.

the devs previous game.... his first attempt at making a kn.... think there was a post about it giving hints about the genre.... if im remembering right it was a normal romance. and its not related to this kn... the vivian model is also there i think.... and a redhead at that.

I am fine with this feature, I believe it does as it is supposed to do, slows down for effect, I like it

After all SC said - the first KN is basically finished, but there is no closing scene. He hasn't published it yet. IT'S a simpler, shorter love story.

I'd disagree. For relationships, sure. It'll be a short & boring story. For marriage, NO. Especially if there's kids involved or it was a long marriage.

It is a long, nasty and arduous process, it's never simple. You tend to see those Alpha/Sigma stories on reddit, forums or whatnot, where the guy is an Alpha/Sigma male and immediately dumps and divorce the next day, it's bogus stuff. The divorce proceedings itself is excruciatingly long. Worse if there's court ordered separation and marriage counseling.

Then there's the custody battle, splitting of assets, alimony, child support, selling the house and finding a new home. On top of that, the "pick-me-up game" is real as fuck and a constant throughout the entire process. Especially when you have kids, as a parent you'd re-think multiple times if divorcing, 2nd chances or open marriages is the right thing to do. Or if you're rich af and want to protect your assets. Prenups aren't really a valid contract for most countries and for most gen x or older, it wasn't a thing. If you took her back in, how are both parties gonna make it work because the victim definitely gonna make it hell. Constant surveillance, trust issues. It'll spiral from there.

There's also the revenge angle, there is no victim that did not have this cross their mind. Even the most beta man or woman will attempt to do it(even open marriages) or at least get a one up against the spouse. It's to get back, regain some form of control in their lives. Taking legal action against the affair partner for alienation or informing her employer(if it's a co-worker). Involving the affair partner's wife or reaching out to relatives from both families. Then there'll be the toxic social war between the families/in-laws on who's right or wrong. False accusations, the guy gets accused of domestic violence, it'll turn into a new court case or lengthen the divorce. Do you get even or allow the victim to even the fields. Leading to open marriages which is another huge can of worms and a shitstorm that NEVER ends well. Mind you, we haven't even talked about the children and how they deal with the fallout.

Decisions on whether you split, 2nd chance, open marriage etc don't come to you magically, it's something you'd brood over for months and years because there are many considerations. You can't magically solve it in 3-5 business days like reddit says. The law and life doesn't allow it, its a multi-year process regardless of the ending.

My parent's infidelity divorce lasted friggin 5 years until they finally divorced. 6 years if you include the affair before D-day. They didn't even play the whole game, maybe like 60% of it and it still took so long. By the time the divorced finalized, i had already left school and was in my 3rd week of Basic Training in the Army(btw, militaries tend to have a lot of domestic/marriage issues). After that it was 2 years of fallout(nope, it's not over yet, there is always an aftermath) until eventually my dad cut everyone out except me and my brother(my sister sided with mom) and remarried.

That said, i like the angle and direction you took for this game, leaning more towards realism and relatability. It's a little cathartic. Most games of this genre does not do this. In fact i've never seen any VNs that took this route. Honestly, for most games, the main point of this genre is the lewd content, very based and uninspired.

i cannot begin to understand how much this kn has impacted you from your post as you have been very passionate and vocal in and sorry to hear about your situation. .... the quote in your post he/she is the developer of this game. he did warn in the beginning about this being not easy to digest for some...... sure wasn't easy for me. dunno how to phrase it gently but if this kn has impacted you to such an extent then you should take some time on things that make you happy.... that worked for me.

Maybe let's tackle these topics again if the opportunity presents itself with the plot further down the line. I don't think we are so far apart actually. I certainly don't want to take personal responsibility away from the individual characters, far from it. I'm just not so quick to simply expect raw atavistic violent reactions from ourselves in such situations even if we would like to see it and cheer it on from the sidelines.

My thoughts exactly! I consider most movies to be cartoons with real people. If you delve to deep into most movie and TV stories, of course they are unbelievable. John Wick, Die Hard, Reacher, any Schwarzeneggar movie, all unbelivable but very entertaining! You have created a story with a cliff hanger ending leaving almost everyone begging for more. Bravo! Well done!

I managed to get my hands on the original draft of the game, but it was much shorter, so I'm happy that @SC Stories scrapped it in favour of extending the story. Here's the "alternate" sequence of events from where Hutch was given his "homework" task at Christian's house:

If the VN intends to stick to the NTR theme till the end then it's a trap. The girl in Chistian's bed looks like Addison(or maybe her mother lol, so Christian's sister in law, to bypass incest). Either Addison is getting used/blackmailed by her uncle to mentally/emotionally torture and manipulate Hutch or she is as sick as her uncle and is only pretending.

She is probably a random blonde. The way Christian was looking at her, after speaking with Vivian gave me the impression that he was thinking of giving up the random hookup and perusing Vivian for a more meaningful relationship... just a thought.

I guess it is headed to finding them even more unlikable
It's their unrealistic flaws blended with a fine story that keeps us drawn to this game.
