Really liked the writing, plus very decent artwork/animations. Cograts to the dev for his work, I hope we won't get into repetetiveness and story continues to be original and looking forward for the next update of the installment.

The only thing was a bit slow was the mc's conteplations/crying, but it could part of the plot buildup as we don't have the full picture yet.
Having more audio scenes would have been nice as it added quite alot to a more immersive experience, similar to the first night experience.
Also, not sure if we will ever get some retro-POV on what happened at the garage when the dude asked to get paid by other means for the car repair.

When I compare it to other games, where the dialog is soo boring and immaterial to the point of skipping it, but not sure if me loosing interest in pointless dialogs of games or am too quick to skip forward and loose the plot over the process.

Not sure if we'll eventually get an option system or the game will continue as a story telling experience.

PS. This Christian guy really knows how to add insult to the injury

I completely agree. The night scene, even if you don't see anything visually, is PEAK with the audio. Likewise, the scene in the kitchen, when she's lying on the table, noticeably enhances the entire scene.

Yes, he is someone with a sense of cinematic language. At the very least, he is someone with a broad cultural framework and sensitivity to notice the details that make up a good scene.

And this bedroom scene is awesome, he uses a door that projects light and shadow from inside the room which also gave a really nice touch to the scene. The kitchen scene with Husband watching Vivian giving a blowjob through the window is also very well composed.

There was this little details I don't know if it's been discussed in this forum before. But when vivian is talking to hutch from the school after the morning ambush, she is walking back to her class and she sees the basketball student being surrounded by cute cheergirls and he sees vivian and winks at her and during her very important phone call with her husband about his job and whatnot she just grins and then he comes running to her and the scene was just not simply a bored housewife liking attention. It was a perfect execution of a bored housewife liking attention. The bit where she goes to back to the car and licks her lips, when she doesn't throw the box the dress came from all make vivian very intriguing... Great writing all around

I don't know, that's speculating too much, speculating even about the author's personal life is tough, I even moved away from the topic because there was too much speculation and projecting things far beyond what was necessary. Even though I don't think she's a woman by the way she talks, that's something that doesn't matter to me, because I've seen male authors write impeccably about women, like Gilbert Hernandez from Love and Rockets magazine.

Speculating is always allowed – and there are actually many more women writing under male pseudonyms or using unisex names without revealing who they are. But I agree – there’s no need to delve too deeply into the topic.

personally i think the dev is a woman. for two reasons. one the ho cheats on her husband while he is in the next room knowing full well that he is not asleep. she just tells Christian he is a heavy sleeper and won't hear anything. then she completely justifies it telling herself Hutch doesn't know anything. then after the bathroom scene where she realizes Hutch was in the stall listening to everything, she still doesn't admit what she does. typical cheating whore behaviour.

To be fair, there's a ton of erotic novels/audiobooks/soap operas who are very juice with similar content that mostly attract female audience. Mostly men, mostly interact with this type of content if its available in game or porn vids.

Maybe I speak from a personal experience but I would preffer an action/adventure, scifi, war movie or sports over erotic stuff but when you find it in a game its more appealing me. If it was a film or a tv series I would never considered watching it.

I mostly agree. But it has not only to do with the different media, but with the importance to distinguish the pornographic from the erotic and to hold on to the former in its own right and legitimacy. All justified efforts to upgrade and to refine the content mustn't lead to leaving the pornographic territory altogether and to shift the goalpost. The real challenge is to stay there but to do it better - not simply to reduce it or to tone it down. The justified demand for better storytelling for example has nevertheless to prove that it still results in pornograpihc stories which follow their own rules and standards. This is much more difficult than to just dilute and soften it.

As for me, I like all of these things and I consume them all depending on what I feel like at the time. I read books, comics, watch movies and series, and play games from all of the genres you mentioned and beyond. Taste is something that is constructed. It seemed to me that you got used to the predictable, the routine, and didn't allow yourself to experiment. And from the genres that you admitted to prefer, which I also really like, but it seems to me that you are a younger person, or that your tastes haven't matured to see other things, like a person whose palate matures over time, when you mention only these genres.

I think it's a very attractive work. I think everyone's tastes will be different in the main character's appearance, the way the game progresses, the animation, etc., so I don't think it matters. What disappoints me the most is that most games that come up here start off this flashy, but then take too long to update, or they cut off contact and stop developing the game in the middle. I just hope this game doesn't end up like that.

Project Update

A few more weeks. Probably first half of June. What I have left to do is very tedious stuff and not particularly fun so I'm a bit slow at it.

I've been keeping my distance from the forum lately and will continue to do so for now, but the well wishes are appreciated. Bare with me a little longer. I'm confident you'll enjoy the update when released.
