I'm torn, though... On one hand I love the chance to play this for free, on the other hand I've liked what this dev did with their previous game and would love to support them... Hmmmmmm.

I believe it's because you can put them to work on the brothel, which imply there's sexual acts in the game (even if the act itself was never shown). Blame Steam rating guide for that.

The game has a unecessery grind and the "emotional" damage you should recieve gets diluted the more you play.

...I think that's kind of the point though. Like the previous game "My Lovely Daughter" the protagonist went through countless attempts at bringing his daughter back to life, resulting in many inhumane experimentations and killings. The more he (and in turn the player) continue with this, the more numb he/you feel about the monstergirls you created. So you just went through the motions of giving them gifts and raising them without a shred of actual love, since you already know they are failures who will get disposed of eventually. After all, you are literally "grinding" your humanity away.

So yeah, if you start losing interest and feeling towards the characters you made then the game is doing it job.

For real ? I thought the sole purpose is to feel me like shit. After playing like 20 min I got tired because the girls got blant pretty fast. Like all you have to do is to fill up the love meter, then you have 1-3 dialog options, one CG and then its end. You can keep her around or kill her for rescources. It got so boring to the point I needed to cheat to speed things up.
So im not sure if the Game managet to impact me like you expressed.
In the end, its up to me how I deal with it and this is where I crop the CGs of the succis and somehow photoshop them in a harem. Happy end without any deaths

I thought the point was to get me to uninstall the game.

The gameplay shits in your face and expects you to put up with it for the story, but the story is nowhere near good enough to justify the shit. Even if you know what to do, how to do it and skip through all the dialogue; it still takes several hours to beat the game because of all the grinding you have to do.

Is killing your succubi waifus optional?

You have to kill them to get resources. But one option is to keep the ones you like alive after the initial phase and kill only the others. Alternatively it's also possible to just resummon the same succubi.
