so when I download this, the Chinese characters in the file names are replaced with +,|,...etc symbols instead of Chinese characters, and this is causing them to fail to load in the game (mainly the images), I tried downloading the Chinese version, but it's the same problem, anyone got a fix?

You need to install Chinese (simplified) keyboard typeset / IME.

Unfortunately for me, the game doesn't work. Whenever it reaches any animation part, it stops and won't continue no matter what.

Doesn't the game give instructions that you have to press and hold left or right during the looping animations? Someone on page one of this thread also mentioned that.
