Sorry to break it down to you, but if they don't care about art enough to have an IA make it, most probably they don't care about writing nor programing a decent game either.

Yes and no. As was and is the case with RPG Maker, ease of access results in vastly more releases. However, Sturgeon's law (90% is trash) will always apply so only some will be excellent.

While I am in agreement that games like this should be shunned and scoured from the site, their patreon wasn't started for this game, they've had a different one in development for a while.
