Brilliant game, I really enjoyed it.

I hadn't played it before, so everything was new, and I thoroughly enjoyed all the story events. I think there's a good cast of characters, and I do like what I'm seeing of them.

I do look forward to see where it goes from here.

Oh, and I'm not sure who to contact, but I fixed up the incest patch a bit, I noticed it fall out in some places, and so I added additional entries, and it seem to work good.

I'll include it here, as an attachment.

I also made a version of mine some pages ago, but I just removed the "step-" from everything. Hahaha
There's a "step-son" in Chapter 3, in the neighbor's scene, which I think it'll will miss.
I did mine that way because I think it's more future-proofed, like if dev suddenly mention the step-father or whatever...

Umm, the way the incest patch works is... that it looks for a string, like "step-mother" and dynamically changes it to "mother". And it has a lot of entries like that, for the different relationships. So, it doesn't actually edit the script (so new chapters that come out don't really affect it).

Where the old incest patch messed up was when the script introduced "step-mommy" in that scene where Anya pervs on the interractial scene next door. I just added that, and now it seems good.

But, there's still a "step-son" that isn't changed, since I do think it should be explained that the mom is a step-mom to the black family. But because of how the file works, she can't be referred to a step-mom by that boy, since it'll be automatically changed by the incest patch. That was mostly to take care of the other mom. But, I played through it (that scene) and it still reads well, when he just calls her mommy and such. There's actually a hard-coded "Mommy" in that scene that probably should be changed in chapter 3 script. Anya says it, because it comes up when he calls the milf that. But, she does does, it's hardcoded, which I think it should be "step-mommy", wich with the patch, will be converted into "mommy".

But, that's only if you want to do a little correction to the chapter 3 script. It was only that one line, chapter 3, line 3196, and she goes "Mommy?"

She should be saying "Step-mommy" since that's what the guy actually says, and she's just parroting it. Only a slight thing, so maybe not even change it, if you don't want to.

Edit: actually, that "mistake" I pointed out might not be something you should correct. Since, Anya might just have been surprised at him using "mommy" with her, and so she could have just purposely focused on the last part of "step-mommy". I think it's OK to leave it as you have it already. Or, you could change it, but maybe dont bother?

The only reason I didn't use Kikomascado's patch is... because it wasn't mentioned in the first post. Only only incest patch is mentioned there, and that's the one I corrected.

But, I do like what they've done, combining incest and renaming. Nice.

But, I would also say that the incest could be a bit better in that patch, since it's a bit too brutal in its stripping. Still, it's pretty good.

I also made some outline sliders, because many people complained about the white font, even with the textbox transparency slider.
The reason I made the incest part like this is for future proofing, so it will remove all step relationships, what I think the original intended to do, anyway.
Also, if the dev ever use it in a "shouting" or "mocking" styled dialogue, like "STEB-BRO" or "sTeP-bRo", respectively, it will also change it, since the substitution is case insensitive.
I even thought of trying to make the renaming part account for interrupted lines, like the "Viol..." on the prologue, but figured it would be too much work for something I won't even use, since I always use default names. Hahaha

Interesting to hear how the patch functions. A "step-up in basis" is a term I use at work and has to do with real estate and taxes in a probate, so I think the chances of it coming up in game are pretty low... although I'd be interested to see how that would happen...

I searched a little and besides some field-specific terms, some words that begin with "step-" are "step-up", "step-down", "step-in", "step-out", step-back, "step-over" and "step-by-step", all of them which I think have synonyms that are more used than them, so I don't know if will be a problem.
After Chapter 4 is out I'll see how many "step-"s are in there. Hahaha

The AI is 'Stable Diffusion', but it's used in several different tools and doesn't determine the artstyle itself. The most commonly used tools are probably 'Automatic 1111' and 'ComfyUI', which act as interfaces to get going. The artstyle itself comes from Checkpoints, loRA's, VAE's, embeddings etc.
