I hope the update will be worth the wait. I have seen many devs being active at the start of game developement and then only to slow down to milk their audience(some of them do require time due to story complexity and different paths). since this story is linear, i hope it is easier for the dev to go with a story line. I don't know how much content is present in ch5 and am not making comments on it but rather just a advice on how other devs make mistakes.

Art looks incredibly inconsistent (and worse), sure this is an ai art and all but Ari and especially Maki have entirely different facial shapes. Just compare this one to the promotion material.

Just to clarify if you're talking about me I'm not his "mate" ,our very few conversations have been around AI methodology, game dev and image editing, while I have a lot of respect for his work we're not buddies and I'm not on his dev team. I am friends with some who are, but they certainly did not ask me to defend him or his game at any point in time.

His business however is doing just fine, with over 1000 paid subs (and growing last I checked) in spite of no recent release. Somehow I doubt he cares about the commentary of either myself or anyone else or that he's "ruining his business". But we're all still allowed to make it, of course, and others are allowed to disagree. The reality is the vast majority of the patreons have likely never read nor left a single comment and therefore simply do not care about what is being said in this thread.

i get what you saying but also while i left the server i still pledged to the patreon i like the game its just the pacing but then again there's other games im pledged that beat MNGF in some areas

Yeah and I did a comic from October 25th to November 7th, so this month, on the 7th, marked the 2 months since I released content besides the content I release non-related to the game on Patreon and Discord. So if anyone is thinking that I am feeling pressure or frustration due to some comments, I assure you that I'm not, anyone with half a brain can do the correct math and I already publicly said here that the holidays sucked more time out of me then I expected as well, I have no problems admitting that. Like it was said my numbers business wise are great and I'm so very grateful to everyone, no reason to worries. My message to anyone that isn't happy with that would be to not support me and if you are and regret it you can DM on Patreon for the refund, no issues at all.

I also saw some comments that I might be sending some of my "friends" from the community to protect the narrative about the project, I might be wrong about this, my quick interpretation. But if that's the case, I get why some would feel that way but I'm really not doing any of that, it's like I don't care about this thread, I do care but...not to the point I would do something like that. And I always said I was open to being tagged were that I would respond, unless I open the notification then forget to answer or something so...I don't know, doesn't make much sense to me but I wanted to clarify anyway.

Most people doesnt read the post histroy so for that reason they dont know the reasons. Imo you shouldnt really care about these kind of negative comments. Take criticism but not those kind of ones

Yeah basically how I see it, the fact we are so active hungry for the next content is probably way better than most devs can ask for. I was lucky to get even three people interested in my content.
