Love the quality of this. While it is AI CG, it's really well done and edited well.

Holy shit is that even possible to implement in a game ? The dev that’s starts that will be in his own league that is wicked just wow.

It is possible to implement in the game for sure but it's not on that level yet...Rest assured I will keep trying over the years, I think it will be a huge tool

In case it's unclear, it's just an AI generated video file. While for sure we're gonna see the time where the image or video is being generated on-the-spot as we play, I was thinking more about the "Oh, now small game creators can put video in their tiny games without having to learn animation, renders etc. Neat."

A big trouble will be when waifus will be AI animated with convincing chat skills.

That's true. It will be cool if adult games can incorporate custom ai's with the girls different personalities and you can actually chat with them.

has the dev talked about what will be in the next chapter? it's weird that development slowed down once he quit his job and started doing this full time... is there a reason?
Development hasn't slowed down, quite the opposite really.
If you've noticed, the updates have increased not only in quality but also in size. Chapter 4 had over 200 renders and over 4K lines of code. That's pretty big and especially seeing with how well the update was received, he's probably trying to create something similar in size or at least in quality.
As a co-creator and as a friend, I trust him completely to deliver an incredible update for you all!

Development hasn't slowed down, the content increased and the quality also increased in my opinion...the goal is to always improve, and chapter 4 is way better then chapter 1 for example...But I can say right now that the biggest challenge for chapter 5 is the scenes with mutiple girls and me trying to improve the narrative, implement a little more drama into the story. Creative endevours like this isn't something that you can just apply simple time math, every chapter presents new challenges, and every challenge takes different amounts of time to resolve. I know there's a lot of hype and expectation for the next slice of the story, and I love that. But I already said before on Chapter 4 that I won't anounce any date unless the chapter is pretty much done. So there's no point on asking me when it will be released. I am not saying you can't ask the question or anything, I am just saying I will not respond because I don't feel confortable giving an answer or a prediction that I might not be able to deliver. Some days I feel like I can't get anything done, the writting is not flowing or sounds stupid after re-reading, other days it feels like I am putting insane fire and I am unstopabble, it's frustrating but I have been creating content for a long time and it's all part of the gig...Yesterday was a good day for example, so I will leave you guys some art of Maki form yesterday
