that's best practices nowadays...I've found 6 fingers on a last screenshot
calling it writers block is overly charitable. i think the devs of these blueball games literally do not know how to write a story that doesn't hinge on teasing and cliffhangers. they do not know how to pay off what they are setting up.This would make more sense, but I genuinely have a feeling the dev is just hitting writer's block and doesn't have a clear direction on where to take the story, and is using these DLCs and random reworks of earlier shit to feed breadcrumbs and appease his fanbase a little and make it "seem" as if development's more active as he drags out their subscriptions.
Okay, the intention to "drag out their subscriptions" is a bit of the overly cynical F95 poster in me coming out, because that probably is not his thought process, but definitely circling around the "party" chapter for this long (and if we take this time to be from the very first time chapter 5 was teased, which was back in the middle of November last year, then this "party" arc has now taken up...5 months of the game's timeline) is kind of souring the overall excitement I feel the game used to have (especially because, as we saw with the Anya's POV DLC too, there are still close to zero pay-offs - meaning Maki getting action is not something I count - so we're just waiting, month in month out, for tease after tease).
Also, the game getting a bump on this website for a small update is almost surely purely beneficial for the game. Most people will see it's a small update and not care, but there might be new people who haven't spotted this game before or are new to the website, and get led to Circle's Patreon page, so that's...good, I suppose.
I feel similarly with a slight clarification - I think it's more that they don't know how to write an engaging story AFTER the first sexing happens.calling it writers block is overly charitable. i think the devs of these blueball games literally do not know how to write a story that doesn't hinge on teasing and cliffhangers. they do not know how to pay off what they are setting up.
there's no other way to explain this phenomenon that happens across so many NTS games. right as the action starts to approach actual NTS, the dev time slows down, remasters start, giant group party scenes that take a year to finish, side characters getting their backstories fleshed out - ANYTHING except having the main girl do actual NTS shit.
it all just feels like stalling. because that's what it is!
It doesn't matter. AI art is not protected by copyright law. The person in question, as well as the developer and anyone else, can do whatever they want.He also sells it on Sheer for 4 euros as "gameplays"
People put all the effort building the tension, but unfortunately most of them have no idea on how to proceed after the first NTS engagement happens. Guilty, conflicts and trauma are rarely present in these VN, that why is so difficult to keep everyone back after releasing the spectator from the blue balls.I feel similarly with a slight clarification - I think it's more that they don't know how to write an engaging story AFTER the first sexing happens.
Just think about that - it's one thing to write tension and buildup pre-sex in an nts environment; because the player's desire (caveman brain) to see more fills in the gaps of otherwise medicore storytelling. It's a whole other thing to make the player want to stay AFTER the girl gets banged for the first time - especially without resorting to the typical "up the sexual ante" progression.
This is the real issue IMO, so many devs convinced they need to draw out the buildup since no one will care about the third act (and often they're right since their writing on its own doesnt engage the player)
The beauty thing about a VN is that you close the game and IRL is all like before.People put all the effort building the tension, but unfortunately most of them have no idea on how to proceed after the first NTS engagement happens. Guilty, conflicts and trauma are rarely present in these VN, that why is so difficult to keep everyone back after releasing the spectator from the blue balls.
IMO keeping the tension while the sex progression advances is the most difficult aspect in NTS games.
This is true but beyond that my Let's Plays are full commentary not just narration. I speak every word myself and provide my thoughts and opinions as to the different aspects of the game. I often even provide direct numerical reviews of the scenes or plots in the game. I also will never cover every route in a game unless its very old and encourage my fans to go play the games themselves. It doesn't matter. AI art is not protected by copyright law. The person in question, as well as the developer and anyone else, can do whatever they want.
Your absolutely right in your assessment and if I may add that the main reason for not "keeping the sexual tension" is poor writing and a bad plot. So many games just become fuck after fuck after fuck, but when the author combines a great story and the dialogue between NTS partners is hot you look forward to what happens next. Case in point, the latest update of Moonripple Lake. I don't understand at all where you get these unsuccessful NTS games from. You mean Atelier Sakura shit?Your absolutely right in your assessment and if I may add that the main reason for not "keeping the sexual tension" is poor writing and a bad plot. hey can you please tell me If there is an update after the rob maki and Blondie recording scene..I don't understand at all where you get these unsuccessful NTS games from. You mean Atelier Sakura shit?
I don't quite understand. The last threesome scene and then the MC and his girlfriend went to bed. As far as I remember.hey can you please tell me If there is an update after the rob maki and Blondie recording scene..
A1111 Stable Diffusion is where the magic happens. There are other interfaces like for example ComfyUI but I can only speak on what I've got experience with. I guess it depends on what visuals you prefer in terms of the overall look of your UI, but functionality is more or less the same. Look up guides on Youtube / Google for beginners.Hello my fellow AI chat game enjoyers, I know I am very late to the party but I am trying to get into developing a game and since these types of chat games are getting pumped out left and right I thought I'd try my luck. However I have no fucking clue where to do start, what engine to use etc. So if anyone feels generous enough to push me in the right direction I'd be ever so thankful
