Well, part of the reason for that is the amount of images. CG just wants to make bigger and better scenes from what it looks like, which is obviously taking more time. The game's art has also seen changes over the chapters and there's more script to work on.

It's not like images are the only thing he's working on. Writing scenes and having ideas isn't exactly something that manifests itself out of thin air either. Add to that the rework of images from Ch01 inbetween Ch05 and Anya's DLC (not the best timing for that IMO). He's also been adding new features to the game like animated transitions and animations (the latter is outsourced I believe) in general. Bringing new features to the game adds time on the clock aswell.

Ch01 has 74 images in it's folder while Ch05 has 344 images. Less writing vs more writing. More time spend on the writing (big difference now compared to early chapters).

And as mentioned before, CG is giving refunds if people feel like they got scammed or don't like it. Not that many devs out there doing that either. As for communication, he is very much active on Discord and his community is quite happy from what I've been told.

Anyway... 2 more days guy. Let's not lose our minds over this. lol

Hello dev, i haven't been a fan of this game for too long, i started playing around chapter 5, and i like the game a lot, and i wouldn't try to tell you how you should be operating, but if i can give you one advice, don't stretch yourself too thin, just focus on one thing at a time, some people here might be gooners/losers/degens, but it is a hentai game, those are your fans , it is only natural.
My suggestion (which means absolutely nothing at all) is to keep the main story going, once that is done, people would naturally want more, then you could add dlcs or whatever,again, it is all entirely up to you, just a suggestion from a fan, best of luck to you !

I don't work on this game. I have a lot of respect for CG as a dev - given he not only inspired my own efforts with his incredible work but has done cross promotion for our project and been very helpful to us in general.

I don't want people thinking I speak for CG in any capacity, I don't. In fact I have minimal contact with him (and when I do it's all talking shop), I do however have good relations with him and his team and simply seek to counter some of the disinformation that gets spread.

Plz don't bite my head off for asking a question on here, I'm new .....I understand the misgivings on the time it's taking for ch.6 to drop, but am I to understand that only 1 of the DLC's (Anya) will be coming out? If so, does anyone have info on the "After-party" DLC release?

Also I love the way the AI is generated for this game and Shadows of Ambition, is there anyway someone could let me know of a couple games/visual novels/kinetic novels that use this same style AI rendering? I would very much appreciate you

As a new follower of these types of content so far my big 3 are (not in any particular order):
My New Girlfriend
Shadows of Ambition
Moonripple Lake
.....now looking for more as good as those in terms of looks and delivery....thx

Anya DLC drops on March 30th, then development for the 'Afterparty' DLC. There's no release date for the latter yet, but I'd assume a month or two depending on how big it's gonna be.

As for other games with similar art, you'll have a hard time finding any that are good besides the ones you've already mentioned. Most of 'em do the silly phone NTR thing and there's a new one popping up in what feels like almost a weekly basis.

You could try with the "latest update" function on top of the page, then use tag filters on the right with "AI CG" and whatever other tag you may be interested in. :)

Thank you for the info about the drop date.

That does suck to hear about the lack of competitors with this good of AI generated content, hope the creators of the three I mentioned can crank up the releases for everyone sooner rather than later.... and yes I understand they're human and need time for mental fatigue breaks. Just kinda got addicted to Vi and the rest of My New Girlfriend' crew.
