It's because there are a few individuals in the thread that keep going after and personally attacking anyone that expresses a differing view or opinion from them. It's a tactic to try and steer the game in a specific direction. Their posts keep getting deleted so it shouldn't be an issue anymore. I think that's why it's important for the dev to clarify.

There will still be plenty of intrigue and adventure to enjoy in the game, just as we've seen in the previous chapters.

But there was no other direction. Just to respond to all this last stuff at once the whole reason I had him publicly clarify is he had the same conversation on the discord a year ago. With more or less the exact same response.

Nothing has changed due to patreons or anyones opinions, quite the contrary in fact. One of the things I respect about CG is how hes stuck to his guns, in spite of people (and they know who they are) attempting to push the game in a different direction.

Up until this point, the game was great, and the factor that set this game apart from others was the storytelling and solid and believable characters. But now what? While CG does not care about criticisms regarding his vision - and this remains true - the dialogue for Anya will be softened somewhat for the silver release. This was already posted on the discord days ago, and was to due with just what you pointed out, he got a bit carried away during the sex scene and pushed her dialogue too far in comparison to her current development, even taking the alcohol into account.

She has not changed in a matter of seconds, it was supposed to be a reflection of a combination of her being drunk + horny in the moment, but indeed some level of adjustment is being done.

In terms of Maki, I think she's a switch more than a true dom. I do think she maybe should have played a bit more hard to get, I enjoy the tug of war for control myself. But there's room for that in future scenes hopefully.

Ye I don't even think Maki changed or anything, for me she remained totally on character, very intense. It's not because she pushes around her little brother and her little sister that she has to be sexually dominant all the time with everyone. Especially because as you mentioned, a lot of doms are switch.
Regarding Anya maybe it was a bit fast so it's more debatable. But honestly it didn't shock me or anything, because alcohol is a common tactic from authors to make characters do bold stuff. Once again, I don't mind being surprised and I don't think a story has to follow a clear predictible pattern. Even irl, sometimes things change quickly, sometimes they don't. Shy girls can be surprising sometimes.
Well, whatever.
I'm looking forward to the rest of the story!

I actually did enjoy the update. Yes, the blowjob scene could use a little overhaul considering Anya went a bit overboard, but other than that I thought it was good. I'm a sucker for good writing (talking proper English, terminology, syntax) and the game has made so much progress on that front with every passing chapter.

The bar scene with Anya + Maki for example had some proper girl talk. It felt authentic and believable. Most developers have a hard time coming up with good dialogue for female characters in particular but here I can actually enjoy their conversations without feeling like it was written by a 12 year old horndog. It's obviously still porn so some things are intentionally exaggerated, but good writing elevates any VN to new heights and way too many games lack any effort in that department. One of the many reasons why I do enjoy this game so much.

If I were to give any criticism, it would probably be the development time for this DLC. ~100 images in 2 months was really on the slower side of things. Hopefully that's just a minor hiccup and the rest of 2025 is gonna be as great as 2024 for this project.

It's a sex scene. It should be as hot as possible. It should almost break a character in a sex-induced haze. And then you can get a rebound in the other direction.

For dynamics to be extreme, you need to twist the character as hard as possible - into one direction, then into the other - until it almost breaks.
That's the staple rule of... every form of art?

For me, this scene could be even more extreme. As long as you keep in mind what the future scenes with both Anya and Maki would be - so the dynamics between characters will remain interesting in the future, and this scene won't be just The End of their journey.

The latest update certainly wasn't as bad as you're making it out to be. Maki was already acting like a whore from the beginning of the game. And what 0 to 100 are you talking about? Anya has already been turned on by various events since the beginning of the game and it is clear that she is an inexperienced horny teenager girl. Such reactions are natural at this point of the game.

Overall, a pretty good update. I liked the story, and the scenes. I loved the animation too. Nice touch.

I updated my incest patch, and took care of the non-kids lines. So, I'll present what I changed the lines to:

Because in the canon story, as is written, Laura is his adoptive mother. She adopted him, Maki and Anya, then her husband left her take care of them on her own...
While I could definitely see him call her "mom" out of habit or familiarity, so far he has also called her by her name.

He's changing nothing about the plot itself AFAIK, nor did he change anything just because of reactions. He changed some things because he agreed with the premise that the writing was not consistent. I think it is a stretch to try and sell the idea any woman would go from being shy about a dick pic from a guy to talking about filming a porno with the same guy within 30 minutes. She didn't drink more in that time, she was already drunk for both. It had nothing do - to the best of my knowledge - with complaints about NTR tropes or anything like that. But rather, simply hitting a coherent character arc for Anya writing wise.

Like I said in my initial review, I don't think most of it was too over the top, she was drunk, she was horny, she was frustrated by her perceived rejection by Eric (or perhaps more accurately, being outdone by Vi) and so she decided to try and have some fun of her own for once. That being said, there are limits to how far that logic can take you.

Her feeling guilty after was apparently always the goal, and therefore he likely wrote the scene with that in mind. But perhaps pushed it too far in an attempt to both make the scene more exciting and really bring forth that immediate guilt.

Now there are those for whom this is still not enough, the very idea of Anya even having any fun at all without Eric offends them. And to that I say it's ludicrous, she's not humiliating Eric or doing it out of spite to him, she still loves the guy people need to calm the fuck down (Is only game meme). I just cared about the arc being too abrupt.

OK, so updated the patch for Chapter 6.

All references to "Laura" are changed to Mom.

And, as always all step-this and step-that are now this and that.

Should still work for step- stuff past chapter 6, but "laura" still has to be checked over to ensure it makes sense to change it to "mom".

UPDATE: there was nothing to correct in the silver version. But, I uploaded a fresh patch anyway, so there'll be no confusion.

Found the game. Played it. Mixed feelings. The visuals are incredible, but I wonder who cursed AI games because they always ends in NTR. It's like a tsunami. NTR can be fun sometimes, but why are the developers so obsessed with this? Nowadays, to be original you have to go back to good old incest and harem. And that is where I need to give props to the developer, because he tried to do that. MC here is not a complete doormat, and can pull a girl, but overall male characters are pure chliches, white dudes: Eris(decent dick, but cuck), Sai(average dick, cuck), black dudes, otherwise all chads with giant dicks yadayada. All the female characters are hot, but the most annoying thing, there is no black hottie. I mean, there's literally a family of black neighbors, but the stepmom is white, no sisters, or girlfriends of brothers who can participate in fun(swinging?). Since it is interracial combined with NTR, it was expected, but still disappointing. To my mind, the game could have been so much better and original, if the author had used interracial tag fully, but it seems like he just has a thing for bbc. I definitely can't say it is generic, but close to it. After playing, I feel a bittersweet taste.
