That is one of a number of things that take place. It's a full chapter not a "DLC" so there will be a number of full stage set pieces, as in previous chapters.

I hope we dont see DLC in the future updates , uncompleted episodes so annoying.

Guess if you look into the first 5 chapters and the updates given, you can expect a lot of fun for chapter 6. Looking forward to fall timeframe, when the next chapter should be ready for release

It has been 1 year since the game came out 1 year - 5 chapter + 2dlc. Thats not bad .So if the dev continues the same pattern and pace, chapter 10 will come out in next year. I think i will play this game when it is completed when there is enough content. Good luck dev
yes, but each chapter comes slower, there was a rework of chapter 1 immediately after firt release, chapter 2 in a month, chapter 3 in 2 months, chapter 4 in 3 months, and chapter 5, in his entirety (they are not dlcs, they are part of the main story) took 6 months. of course, each chapter is longer than the previous one, but not by so much to justify the increasingly long waiting times. if this keeps up we will go from 4 chapters in 6 months to 2 chapters per year

Which, if we're all being honest here, is crazy as f***
Hopefully these 2 dlcs were enough experience in animations and a more cinematic looking game and we don't suffer too much waiting times.

How long do you think it will take for the next chapter to come out? I think other games of this theme are already beating it in terms of update rates.
It will depend on how long Circle wants this Chapter to be...
If it is a short one, it could come in July, but most likely it will be in August.
Also, it is not (and has never been) a race between creators.

I haven't said there's competition, but you lose interest in a game if you see that it takes longer and longer to update.
I agree, and it is perfectly understandable to do so ! You can always come back later, in an update or two, if you want
