I agree that there is of course coordination and cross promotion. But the plots and atmosphere of the two VNs still feel very different to me. I agree with the above statement that if we were to find out that Luke left early and had to be replaced by an unknown male model/porn actor, it would change nothing of how I feel about the sequence of events. It likely would not change anything for most anyone else who either hates or enjoys it. Luke is very much a prop.

My issues center around VI, her placement and her actions, in an seemingly outside environment. Her seeming inability to say 'No' to Bruce even when she is reluctant and is apologizing to Eric in her head beforehand is also a concern, but mainly because the whole area is a spin off show.

I am not against any development of the plot, this is an author's project!
I don't understand why he should be subject to someone else's opinion.
Before us unfolded a scene where Vi and Luke seemed to have "crossed the line", but devs are collecting feedback now the scene will be changed, either it will not be Vi at all, or she will no longer suck, or maybe it is no longer Luke, but another actor... This confuses even more!
And the question then is, why have this scene at all - to deceive Erik or to deceive the players?
No matter how i feel about this scene, i am in favor of not changing anything.
I agree with those who say that the plot needs to be developed, but i also agree with those who say that this is already the 6th update and dev need to show "something bigger".
And if we are already drawing parallels between the two projects, then Alice has gone much further than Vi, although she needs to be pushed in that direction.
Obviously, this scene should have been done differently. Even if Vi is independent in her actions, she should have been present in the scene with Ari and directly tease Eric with her photos, participating in the whole scene. She sucked someone at a photo shoot, and Eric will get a dirty slut girlfriend and a threesome with her and Ari, where Vi allowed or pushed him to fuck her friend in the ass to even the score.
If the developer removes the concept of what happened entirely, i.e., Vi didn't perform oral sex on anyone, it wasn't her at all, or she was just taking pictures next to a dick, or for example, just masturbated him, then this project will lag even further in terms of plot advancement compared to his Cameo Associate!

Anya, on the other hand, I get that argument. I can answer on that to clarify, based on what has been written in the VN conversations.
Laura and her husband tried to have children of their own, but never could (probably for biological reasons).
They (or at least Laura) desperately wanted to raise kids, so they decided to adopt Maki, then Eric, then finally Anya.
Then Laura's husband left them years ago, leaving the family structure as it is.

Not at all, that's completely beside the point. The main complaints about the CG weren't that the characters were depraved too slowly—the real problem was the drawn-out release schedule. The story itself unfolded at a natural pace.

No one would have complained if the pacing had remained slow, as long as each chapter felt long and meaningful. Take Chapter 5, for example: it was developed in three months and released in January, with two DLCs added by the summer. In total, Chapter 5 took 6-8 months to complete.

If the story's pacing had remained steady, and the overall runtime had matched Chapter 5 and its DLC—but development had only taken three months instead of 6-8—then there wouldn't have been any complaints about the CG at all. This way, a well-written story remains intact, without any sudden jumps, and the audience doesn't lose immersion after a long wait.

Everyone projects their own ideas onto a game and many get mad when a dev doesn't fulfill those personalized fantasies.

Luckily I think we've mostly moved on from the days of devs trying to people please the F95 fan base and just creating their projects the way they want to.

It's clear that this is not the opinion of people on the forum, but of his subscribers, but he will still change the scene because of their opinion!

I am in accord with Dmitri here and that we keep comparing/crossing the Development cycle with story pace. As far as Story pacing goes there is not an issue even if the first act with another person is chapter 7-8. Start the game at cha1 and play through 6, you get there in no time at all. The pace feels solid. What is happening now is people are waiting months and month in between chapters and adding that time into "pace". The final product, no matter how long this ends up being, will see VI having sex with others in fairly short order.

I am also on record stating that this could have happened sooner in CH5 with no issue. It was not that VI has or will have sex with others, she will, we all know that. It was not that it happened too fast. It was how it was done and how that whole scene unfolded. It was just lackluster and felt out of place to me.

Will undoing it or changing it extended the "reveal" for months. Possibly so. Is that an issue of story pace? No. It is a development cycle issue. Should the author not make changes based on the fact that there is a development cycle? I say that CG can, but that is a question each consuming this will have to answer for themselves. As we can all just come back when the product is done and consume it then. For my part I do not see any of these releases as a final version of anything. CG should make changes but only if they feel it is valid to do so. Ultimately I have no idea what they will do. But what I do know is that VI having sex with others is absolutely part of the project timeline. Firstly I am not criticizing the pace of the plot. I am merely saying that the pace of the plot is separate from the time it takes to release a chapter.

While I did state that the pace of the plot it fine either way, please note that such is only taking the current chapters into account. I have no clue how long or short this VN is supposed to be. If there are 50+ chapters planned then "pacing" might be too fast. If there are only 10 chapters planned, then it might be too slow. So I can only judge by what we have now. Also, I was not talking about penetration. Got no clue when that will happen, I was just talking oral. If the BJ scene is removed then it will happen in CH7 most likely.

As far as full sex goes, only 1 character in this game as had sex with multiple people, Ari. Only Ari and VI have had sex at all. Even Maki has not banged even one out yet.

But yes, whatever happens in cha7-8 could be anywhere from 6months to a year. My opinion is that you cannot judge the pace of the plot by the time it takes to release each chapter. Cause when I talk about pace, I mean story plot pacing, not development timeframes and vice versa.

Lastly, my issues with the scene are purely story structure based, I am not of the "milking" crowd or the group that does not want VI to engage with others. The act could have happen sooner or later, but if it was done in the exact same way it was I would still disagree with it.

Though as I write the above, it occurs to me that we have not even gotten to having an Animated scene for VI and Eric unless my memory is hazy, their only full sex encounter was stills only. So I would imagine that her next full sex scene would still be with Eric as her first animated penetration which is likely what CG was originally getting to as the "reclamation" scene that would have occurred in either Cha7/8 since the DLC would likely be (or have been) the full version of the photoshoot.

Yep, you are correct. I did recall the BJ animation but my last push through of Cha4 must have been too fast and missed the full sex animations there. It seemed it that there wasn't such and now I know why, because I was in error.

I kinda liked the last update, I even liked the fact that some things were unclear (until next update). But I knew the scene would make a decent amount of people mad. So if I understand well, they'll will change their last scene based on feedbacks ? (once again?) I just skimmed the last few pages as there are a lot of comments.
If true, it's a bit worrying because they've been doing this in the past too, but back then someone from the dev's team said to me multiple times that the dev had a clear vision. I'm a bit skeptical, but hopefully I'm wrong.

Anyway, I had a fun time, as often with this game.

I have criticisms of the chapter but I feel like some folks just need a different story... Like this is clearly building to Vi's corruption and enjoying her accelerating slutty behaviour, I'm here for that.

At the pace the story releases tho if we get so much pushback everytime she takes a step forward it's gonna be years before the story gets anywhere lol.

Some of the scenes felt rushed to me but my main complaint is the audience should at least see what happens (hopefully in next chapter though I would have preferred here) even if Eric doesn't.

Maybe a bit rushed, but I sure did love the new chapter, though I rather wanted to seen Eric with Anya instead, Ari isn't my taste really, wouldn't like to see my hubby with such ugly slut. But i'm looking forward in how Eric will punish his girlfriend for being disobedient, after all she did now do things without asking his permission, this is something Eric shouldn't let go unpunished.
