There's a balance, yes maybe there should have been a clearer discussion between MC and Violet about where the line is and maybe he should have been there for that particular event (which is why CircleGames turned it down a bit in the Silver release) but also if you really want literally every new step in the NTS to be preceded by an obligatory "yes we both agree to this" dialogue that's gonna get boring fast.

I remember a discussion regarding stories in video games (normal ones I mean). A very progressive person was arging that we need a trigger warning just before a scene happens if it contains anything that could upset the player, like a suicide scene (even if there were already warnings on the game's jacket). The other one, who I happen to agree with, argued that it killed the impact of any scene with shocking content for everyone else, as you're basically spoiled before anything happens.
I see some parallels between that and the problem you guys are talking about, which is in short is the fact if the characters need to discuss every single thing just before it happens (even if they already reached an understanding prior to that), there won't be much surprise or excitement. Several nts games tend (or tended idk) to be overly safe so that it never feels ntr-ish in any way and at any point, to avoid upsetting a large part of their public. But I also think that collaterally, it has a negative impact on the story for the reason mentioned above. That being said, I understand it's also a matter of taste.

What's the balance? The contradiction between the dialogues and the development of events? If so, then I agree that dialogues about one event about another are a kind of theater of the absurd. And it all started with the "going to the club" addition (when the author sat down on two chairs).
For those who don't believe it, start the game from the beginning and feel how the plot develops up to this point and after (it starts with a milking machine with meaningless dialogues and events without events)
And the climax of the nonsense, for me, was the photo shoot, which had a really good opening and a dialogue between V and Bruce that fits the game and the plot. But then a RANDOM guy shows up and she gives him a blow job!!! What kind of stupidity is this???
And when subscribers expressed dissatisfaction, the author decided to change the scene and replaced the character from his second game with another RANDOM guy LOL. The only problem is that it's a RANDOM guy(author doesn't understand this).
If Vi had given Bruce a blow job, that would fit the plot. And she could have easily explained it like Bruce does so much for her, earns her money, and she's just taking pictures. And she gave him a blow-job as a "thank you." Bruce isn't a random character, but a character involved in the plot, but no, the author throws in an extra, unnecessary character.
So it's better to have it be boring but with a logical plot than absurd. Logically, if V is walking home after a photo shoot and sees two guys in an alley, it wouldn't be strange if she gave them blow jobs too. More sex scenes are fun (but no, that's just stupid). And besides, the game already has a brainless slut ready to take any guy's dick.

Strongly disagree. Events just for events - very intresting take, I think almost all kind literature does it. Basic example, you go with friends to the club just for the sake of it, or to have fun. Fundamentally wrongsome thinking.

Another example of someone not really paying attention to the story. The guy just wasn't any rando. Cedric, is introduced as a pretty famous porn star and that Violet recognizes him as she has watched his porn. So.......given the fact that she already wants to experiment with other guys, given the fact that Eric and her fantasize together about her being with other men, given the fact that the photo shoot with Bruce has her turned on and horny, given the fact that she is ready to go farther before Cedric makes his appearance....

There were already many hints to her character in this regard. From the first photoshoot, to the club scene, to the walk to the second photoshoot, up to the second photoshoot.
As far as I understand, V's cameo with the porn actor is no coincidence. Ericuсk will receive many more 'funny' photos and, most likely, movie shots from Vi in the future. And V, on the other hand, has a new, successful career ahead of her.

The dialogue between Sai and V on the dance floor (obvious flirting and sexual attraction) remained just MEANINGLESS TALK because when the opportunity to realize this attraction was there, the author switched to milking mode. Now there's a great dialogue between Bruce and V, and once again the author ruins the moment with a RANDOM, useless character.

I'll let you in on a secret: 99% of random characters appear in the game once and disappear without a trace (a porn actress already appeared at V's photo shoot, but she was never seen again). Will there ever be another one in the future? No, the game will be abandoned before anything with background characters appears.
And don't justify the developer just because you like the project. I liked it too, at first, before the update with the clubbing. I'll point out what's wrong and explain why. But many people play these kinds of games simply by looking at the pictures, without really understanding the plot, and as a result, they end up getting a blowjob from a RANDOM, useless character.
Could/can we (I hope the author will change this ruined ending again) see the relationships between the characters already introduced into the game develop? Why add new, unnecessary garbage to the game if the existing characters are underdeveloped?
Reread your post! It says it all: there was a great scene between VI and Bruce, but a RANDOM character appears (if you've seen Keanu Reeves on TV, that doesn't make you familiar). There was a really cool line about dominating VI, and I was curious how far that could go with a character who was ALREADY involved in the game.
But no, the author ruins everything with some supposedly famous porn actor.

I completely agree with the author - if Vi, for example, had given Sai a blowjob in the alley near the club, and Ericuck had seen it and, most importantly, hadn't objected, it would have been natural and would have fit into the picture.

You do you, I loved the game before and it became even better for me after Chapter 6. The plot is mostly consistent enough, it looks like a detective, but you uncover where and how spicy scenes will appear. Right know I just want to see what will happen next, excluding all the simultaneous fapping in between.
Read the story and use your brain a little. I'll break it down for you, since you haven't noticed it yet:

- then there is a dialogue between Eric and Vee where they come to the conclusion that we'll call it an open relationship. - After this, there's a scene in an alley, and OH MY GOD nothing happens (put the first and second points together), and it's logical that Vi would give Say a blow job.
