There is one major issue with his way of doing shit - lack of gamedesign. He started a project about young gansta fakka-fakka everything that moves with 90% of npc being big-boobs-giant-ass-braindead copy of one another. And now story involves his mo... older redhead friend dramatic internal struggle about her feelings, slowly opening herself for him. And his stepsister now is not a pew-pew fuck-fuck nerd girl - she is sex predator now. I mean - yes, it is great idea, and t is a huge leap from the character development point of view, but that whole thing is just poorly glued to main game. Coz 80% of npc is still big-boobs-giant-ass-braindead copies of one another, just different hairstyle.
Instead of dividing his project onto separate chapters he keep changing content and then tries to attach it to its old place. With bugs quantity grows almost exponentially.
Why do you think, he needs to start another project, if he can continue his battle against gamedesign and common sense while milking money from patrons?
How about making Christian doing shit just because MC refused to good night kiss him 10 years ago - and voila - making another arc about feelings and drama AND CHANGING WHOLE PLOT AGAIN with +100 to bugcount?
Problem is - how devs approach their work, refusing to learn from their own mistakes, again and again. Why do you think MNL2 will be any different?

I see your point. I am personally fine with the story being inconsistent and characters being a copy and paste of one another with shallow personality and values, as long its not too much of a mass. I think there are two types groups ( probably more) who play porn games. One type are people who like story and character development in porn games. Where characters are unique both in appearance and personality. So 50% to 60% story, gameplay, and character and %50-40% porn. The other type of people are people who likes 70-80% percent porn and 30%-20% story. Me personally I am in the latter group. I don't even know what the story is nor do I care too. I look at the porn first before look at the story. That's me but each its own I guess.

I do hope the dev do learn something, anything from mnl1 and mnl remake. I'm hoping for better and smoother animation in MNL2.If a new engine helps than I'm cool with that. I can see others would want the story and character development and personality to be different better than they are in MNL Remake.

Don't quote me on this but I have heard the dev was already working MNL 2 from either someone or he may have said it on his patron.
