Some additional notes on what I've found;
You cannot view the "map" on the phone, only on the computer. Strangely, this appears to be the only functionality your computer has the phone does not, and disconcertingly, access to your phone unlocks earlier than access to your computer... which is when you need the map the most.
Some parts of the game drop into spanish dialogue, even when you've selected english.
You cannot call anyone, and most of the women involved so far do not have individual quest line notes. Of your "family", only Sarah seems to get any notes, all the rest of them seem to fall under the main questline.
I've seen references to a Nadine, but haven't figured out how to do anything with her, start her quest, or anything, despite having apparently cleared most content in this release?
At one point, you get to drill some holes for peeping. At that time, as best as I can tell, you can only drill for Maria and Laura, as you don't have keys to access Sarah or Amy's rooms. Later in the story you can get the key to Amy's room, but as best as I can tell, you can't go back and drill for her room later- the interaction points will have disappeared.
The game is missing most.... non-storyline-advancing interactions. Meaning that most characters won't talk to you, most areas you cannot click to interact with, unless it's for advancing the storyline at the moment.
The "revamp" makes things vastly more linear. This is good and bad. The bad news is that it's extremely linear and advancement of nearly every character is directly tied to the main storyline. Good news is there are now hints as to what needs to happen next, so the game is almost entirely playable without a walkthrough.
Rough spots in the main story:
1. At one point, ended up going home, getting a scene of Maria arguing with father, an interaction with Maria, the Maid giving me hot cocoa, a conversation between Amy and a friend of hers, then ended up "stuck" sleeping in my bed. Turns out there is an invisible character active, you can exit the room and go down the stairs, at which point the game can be resumed. The "bug fixer" is unavailable at that time because it's through the "w" interface, which is disabled at that point.
2. Putting your shoes away to advance Laura is broken. There's a fix posted on I believe thread page 71.
3. When you're supposed to catch up with Rachel after her dinner with Jason and family, if you go to the door, jason will answer and let you in, but no-one will be in the house. Exit the house again to find Rachel outside.
4. Searching for thrown away comics with Laura is a bit obtuse; it says "in your neighborhood", which some may interpret as being on the same map area as your house... it's actually one map area west.
5. Finding the spot to listen to principal and your dad - it's upstairs and in one of the bathrooms.
Not sure what I really think of the revamp. On the one hand, you really shouldn't need a walkthrough anymore, on the other hand, you cannot really pursue the characters you want, and it feels way less open. The ugly part is, a lot of the content appears to still be uncoded, and it's not clear this is going to really simplify the code flow to the point the game will be less buggy than before. On top of that, the story doesn't seem to flow as well as it did before. Another piece of good news is... it seems a bit less grindy than it did before.
One more thing I don't appear to have found- babysitting job. I found jobs at hospital, jets (until after her events are completed, at which point her shop seems to close completely), and at the market, but haven't uncovered babysitting at all.
