Another week, another progress update!

I have just a bit of information, on thursday I have an appointment with my lawyer since he got access to the case file again, so I will hear if there has been any updates etc. I'm also going to make him file another request for my SSD that contains all my DAZ3D assets and in addition, my laptop that I bought a few months before this whole fiasko happened and that didn't contain anything related to my games yet ( it was freshly installed ). I hope I will get some more information then, if and when I get my stuff back that is not needed for the court hearing that might happen to me. I will update you guys if I learn anything worth sharing.

Now, let's jump to the games!

Todays render shows Jackie in a bath towel, apparently in front of a sauna. You know I like to do these events ever since I put them in My New Family, when you enjoy the sauna for the first time with the gingers. I feel like these events are always kinda special, since the MC and the girl are naked but not in a sexual way, if that makes sense? They just sit there and talk about this and that. With Jackie it's going to be a special case, since you are able to go on a date with her and maybe explore something that goes beyond the "best friend/buddy" thing you have going with her in the beginning of the prequel. Having a date in a sauna surely seems special, and I have to think back to the main game, where the MC has a similar moment with Lina. I think this will be a good opportunity to see if I can pull something off like that again. Jackie is not as reserved as she used to be and while they both assured each other that their friendship always comes first, it's still going to be interesting to see if Jackie can deal with the fact that the MC has multiple girlfriends. Still, she looks super cute in a towel, right?

I also worked some more on the main game, but it's a pretty big spoiler so all I can say is that it involves Sarah and the MC. I think I mentioned those two having an event in a few progress updates, but if I say something like this you might already guess where I'm heading. There is such a deep connection between those two and after everything that has happened over the years, leading to Sarah saving the MCs life, things are meant to change between those two. If you want to go that way is up to you, but if you decide not to, you might break more than just one heart.

And I feel like thats it for now, people. Sorry that there is not more to talk about, but like I said above, if I learn anything worth sharing on thursday, I'll let you guys know right away! Until then, stay awesome!

As mentioned in mondays progress update, I had a talk with my lawyer today.

To keep things short and simple, there sadly isn't much new to report. Only things that have nothing to do with my assets and that I rather keep private, but my Lawyer will send in a new request to get the SSD that contains all my DAZ3D assets back and also my laptop, that never even contained anything.

As a reminder, the investigating police officer put four ( 4!!! ) sample files into her reasoning why I don't have my assets back yet. One render with Lena, a render with Olivia, render with Lina and a render with Sabrina. You know these characters and while Olivia might look on the younger side, she has not a single render in the game that is questionable. Lina, Sabrina and Lena all are adults and look like them as well, body proportions etc ( her reasoning for Lena literally said "No breast and small arms" ). This has been the reasoning since 2023 and since then, the state attorney still didn't look over it. So we hope the new request will clear these things up.

But yeah...Sadly, not much to share. I was expecting terrible news so at least that didn't happen. The waiting for this appointment was pretty stressing so I'm kinda relieved there now.

Another week, another progress update!

Since I already talked about everything that has happened thursday in a post last week, I'll just jump right into the games!

I'm still working away on the final events of the second prequel chapter and I'm making decent progress. Not as much as I hoped for, but I'm still keeping a steady pace. I decided to add in a little extra event during your time with Rei in the morning, and todays render shows something the MC has to do because of it. He's ging to the grocery store where he, to his surprise, meets Amelie. They have a quick talk and then the MC returns home with his bought goods. I still have some events to do, for example the coffee afternoon with Bethany and a longer relaxed event with Lea, but I'm very very confident that the full release of Chapter 2 will be in october. That's still way later than I anticipated and I'm sorry for that, I just hope that the content you'll get will make up for it. Ever since I started to work on the prequel I felt a lot of creativity return and I feel like it will help me regain the momentum and confidence I had two years ago, before shit hit the fan, as the saying goes.

Since I got asked this a few times again lately I wanted to say again that all the girls you meet in the prequel will eventually show up in the main game. The first one, obviously, will most likely be Rei, who will get a small mention in Chapter 4. I don't want to introduce too many new girls at once and in Chapter 4 you're already going to meet Karla and the twins, so I might safe the appearance of the first prequel girl for Chapter 5. I don't want to overpopulate my games usually and I feel like My New Memories already has a packed cast with a lot of main girls and a few side girls, so I want to make it a more "Natural" progress, kinda like I did with My New Family. The difficult thing with too many women in the game is of course that everyone has their own favorites, and if their favorite doesnt get as much time as another girl, people might be sad or disappointed. So I will do my best to make sure that this won't happen.

And I feel like thats it for now, people. Sorry that there is not that much to report and share and I'm sorry that Chapter 2 is taking longer than I initially anticipated. I deserve all the criticism and blame for that. If there is anything worth sharing in the meantime, I'll let you guys know. Until then, stay awesome!

Hello there you wonderful and super cute people!

Another month, another week, another progress update!

Let's jump right into the games!

I'm still working away on the last events of Chapter 2 and I'm making decent progress, the last day of this Chapter is going to be a little longer than I anticipated but I feel like thats a good thing. I think I teased a little that you will get a longer event with Lea ( who is in todays progress update render ), and the talk with her will go a little deeper. Since Lea is the first girl the MC gets to be intimate with she kinda is the "first girlfriend", in a sense ( if you decided to go that route, though it makes more sense if you do canonically ). The MC is still a little unsure regarding the whole "You can date more than one woman" thing, especially with Anna returning sooner than later. Lea is there to take these worries and thoughts away from him and in a sense, she reminds me a lot of Sandra there from My New Family. Of course the bond between those two is not the same as the one the MC shares with Anna, but that doesn't change the fact that they both love each other. And who knows, maybe you'll get a nice little event with her that includes an animation later on ( spoiler: You will ).

I was suffering a bit of a writing block for the main game and MNF2. I feel like it has to do with the talk I had with my lawyer and "new hope" to getting my stuff back. It's kinda insane, if I Had to describe it with my own words it feels like slowly pulling a rubberband until it eventually snaps back at you. It snapped back when we were ignored by the state attorney and now it's slowly getting pulled again, in the hopes that we finally get a positive response to at least get my rendering assets back. I feel like everything that I have been suffering for mentally for the last 2 years will be gone then, or at least the biggest burden I ever had in my life will be taken away from me. I don't know if that makes sense but I hope you get what I mean with this. I just hope I have more positive news to share regarding that soon - I'm getting my hopes up and pray for it everyday.

Another week, another progress update!

I'm still working away on the final day of Chapter 2 for My New Memories: The Beginning and I didn't make as much progress as I wanted. I feel like my progress in general has slowed down way too much compared to the time between the last 2 beta releases ( they both released within a month of each other ). There is no real excuse for it besides me not being fully there mentally, but I promise I will do better and I'm making steady progress since a few days again, finishing events and preparing renders etc. Todays render shows Bethany walking in the streets, while her and the MC go to her favorite café. You know that these two used to do this a lot in the main game as well ( not only going for coffee ), so I'm looking forward to see this as the "starting point" of them going outside to eat/drink together and talk about this and that. Of course there is the big thing Bethany will reveal in the end and this will also get talked about. She will also mention a few things that will make more sense if you had certain events with her in the main game, and I'm really excited to see what you guys will think about that talk in general!

I also worked more on Chapter 4 and I'm more or less done with two side events I wanted to do there for a while. I call these side events because they don't involve one of the main girls. One is with Lisa, the hotel receptionist and one is with Sabine, the girl working as a nurse in the hospital. Sabine heard that the MC had a certain event happening the night before ( this all plays on the first day of Chapter 4 ), and she is very worried. Sabine is a very close member of the family and since she doesn't have any siblings, she almost feels like a sister to the other girls. But the feelings she might have towards the MC are a completely different story...I mean, you knew this would eventually happen, right?

And I feel like thats it for now. I'm really sorry the next update for the prequel is taking so long and like I said a few times by now, I hope the wait will be worth it. If I hear anything new regarding my case I'll let you guys know as soon as possible. Until then, stay awesome!

Another week, another progress update!

I feel like this will be more or less a repeat from last week. I'm still working away on the final day of Chapter 2 of the prequel. I finally finished the Lea event today where I was stuck on some dialogues for quite a while, but now they're done and I feel like this event will explain a lot of things regarding the MC in the main game. He wasn't always the womanizer he seems to be in the main game, he was actually kinda hesitant to romance more than one girl, since he doesn't want to give anyone less attention than they deserve. That is where Lea comes in, which the MC started his first relationship with. Lea basically eases the mind of the MC when it comes to dating multiple girls. She also kinda takes away his fear what will happen once Anna returns - Because he thinks that once she is back, no one else will be important to him anymore. It's going to be a more emotional and serious talk and I kinda like to present the MC in a "insecure" way when it comes to the "harem" thing, at least in the beginning. Of course you know how he ends up being in the main game and he will start to get this confidence during the prequel as well! Lea is also in todays progress update render, sitting on the couch in her room.

I also worked some more on My New Family 2 these last few days and I'm leaning more and more into using Honey Select 2. It has been almost 2 years since My New Family 2 was completed and I feel like it's about time we can continue the story with Lucy, Sandra and all the other girls from the household. And not only that, with the inroduction of ginger twins, maybe a new little cat etc...It's about time I dive more into that. I will probably fully focus on MNF2 once Chapter 2 of The Beginning is out, while also still working on My New Memories ( the main game ). Still, I received a lot of messages lately where people are eager to see My New family 2 released and to be honest, I kinda underestimated the demand for it. So you can look forward to that!

And I feel like thats it for now, people. Nothing new in my case yet but it has only been what, 3 weeks since I visited my lawyer? It's not like I expected an answer until at least 6 weeks have passed...But oh well. The german justice system and law enforcement are known to be slow as fuck if you are not a priority to them. I just always wonder what I would have done if I didn't have started to make the prequel or planned My New Family 2. Oh well, nothing to think about too much. If anything comes up I'll let you guys know. Until then, stay awesome!
