If I remember correctly, Killer7 once wrote that he had the same situation with Alice back then. Since Olivia is no longer explicitly excluded, I assume that the situation has moved from "definitely not" to "I don't know yet". I therefore have the conclusion that it will come down to whether he will find a way to write this in the future (the daughters are still in a distant future as far as being LIs anyway) in a way that he is comfortable with and doesn't feel creepy.

*sigh* When that comment was made the developers note actually said all characters except Olivia would be lewdable. The current dev note is more up to date than the comment you're quoting. The only potential shitstorms pop up when people quote an 8 month old, most likely no longer reliable comment and reignite a long dead controversy.

Well i have pointed it out to the dev before, and it got ignored, hence why i asked is he could get it changed to reflect whatever is going to happen.

Because having girls walk around with the face and the reported age of 14 or younger making lewd comments and actions is so much better then girls with a face of age 14 or younger but reported age of 18+.

At this point a graphical overhaul on 4 of the main lewdable NPC that have much content pretty much means a nearly complete redesign and/or (depending of whether the age of the girls shall be higher or lower) at least partial rewrite of the storyline. Remember 2 of the daughters are driving and love to drive one of the multiple cars ...
That in turn would mean the next update would be delayed for 4 to 8 weeks minimum and result in a shitstorm. As is tradition when some graphical redesign or rework is in effect ...

The only thing being creepy is that like clockwork every couple of weeks the very same discussion with the same arguments boils up.

Also, no "human mountain" is going to look at 18-22 yr old girls and think they look 10-11. That's not going to happen.

As we should be ignored when we ask those questions. Killer shouldn't have to share his entire roadmap with us. He's the one telling the story, if he wants to leave contradictory information out there so that we can't completely surmise the story before he gets a chance to tell it on his own terms then that's his prerogative. What's relevant is that the comment you quoted doesn't contradict the dev notes, but rather the dev notes contradict that comment. Killer saw the massive response to saying Olivia wouldn't be lewdable, without committing to anything hinted that he'd think about changing that down the road when it becomes more relevant, and then quietly edited his dev notes a week or two later to remove the bit excluding Olivia. I'm not going to speak for him, but I think that there's more reason to believe in the future she will probably be lewdable than there is to believe she won't. Whatever the future holds though Killer obviously doesn't want us to know yet and I don't see why he should have to clarify it.

We SEE the girls the first time after a few days after we HEAR about them for those first days only.
You do not really know whether the photo you are shown relatively soon after waking up is 2 weeks or 5 years old.
There are things called "expectations".
Granted if you are in a coma, can't remember shit and are told you have a couple of daughters while your body seems not to be that old to begin with. Both sisters appear to be in their early thirties at "worst" as well.
How exactly do you expect that children to look like?
Do you picture old gray haired wrinkly women or do you picture actual children especially if they are never referred to as young women at any point before?

If you are physically big - and I'm not meaning chubby - everybody else around you seems to be a child.
Reason is simple.
You rarely if ever have to look up to someone unless sitting but the surrounding people do.


As said before this "discussion" boils up every couple of weeks and it ALWAYS has the same result.
That the complaining person is shut down by multiple users and the dev himself.
Hearing always the same or slightly altered arguments is tiring.

What's there to change, though? Mommysbuttslut hit the nail on the head. For several weeks after the game's release the dev notes stated that Olivia would NOT be lewdable. Social pressure by you and your peers led Killer7 to relax his stance on the matter and now she eventually will be. But instead of rejoicing, here you are, trying to have him lay out when, how and to which extend it'll happen. Way to be patient.

Just because his views don't align with yours doesn't mean they're not honest. If I recall correctly, meeting Sarah has been the only time he remarks on feeling an attraction to one of his daughters. At a time she was just Officer Müller to him, mind. Upon meeting the girls in his household he's set on being their father, again. Not seeing 'lusting after them' among his fatherly duties can hardly be called dishonest. I'd say it's pretty normal.

Additionally, as I've said on several threads now with similar discussions: very short, very petite women with very young faces but 18 or older ages definitely exist in real life. Not everyone looks even close to their age. A flat chest, thin body, short stature, and slight roundness to a woman's cheeks does not necessarily mean that they're super young.

He was using sarcasm as a last resort after trying to be reasonable with all the "we want to have sex with every single character the MC put his eyes on" peoples here on the thread.

I know what he meant, but why should I bother telling the whiners that, you can tell them something as much as you want, but they'll never listen, so it's just a waste of time trying to explain something to them.

I would have liked this game just as much if it didn't have any sexual content, Killer7 is a talented enough writer to not rely on sex to keep people interested, and the sex that is in the game just feels natural, not forced into the story like a lot of other games I've seen.

Another week, another progress update!

Sorry that his one is kinda late. I actually forgot that we have monday, it was still sunday in my head. Anyway, time to talk about My New Family!

Work on 0.22 has been going alright and I'm confident that I'll be able to release the pre-release on the weekend - hopefully on friday. I'll make another post once I have the final release date narrowed down. I can't wait to hear your feedback on this update which will wrap up a lot of lose ends, I think!

I have more to say regarding 0.22 and what comes after the release, but I will save that for the usual comment in the release
post. Just know that it will hopefully all lead to a very satisfying ending for My New Family after 0.23, which will then serve as a great introduction to My New Family 2!

Now, My New Memories. Since I'm on the final stretch for the My New Family update I only made a few preperations for next week, where I will fully jump into work for MNM again. I'm preparing a few new locations and side characters you will meet in Chapter II. Those characters won't have any big impact on the story ( not like Samantha, the Therapist or Morgans doctor if you are on her transgender route, for example ) but they will be characters you are going to see again. For example, the nurse that is taking care of Anna most of the time, who will act like the "Head nurse" of that station. While you won't be interacting with her that much she still plays a pretty important role in the current situation. There is also Sabine who is going to visit the family again and of course Lisa, the girl from the hotel. I didn't forget about them and there is a good chance you will see both of them in Chapter II again - this also includes Jeff and Martin, of course. Like I said in a few posts by now, Chapter I was more about healing and finding your place in the family again. Chapter II will be more about...Ah, well, you will find out. I already gave a few hints but won't say too much anymore. Todays render is Bethany in a cute apron!

Is it just me or does Bethany look naked under that apron? There were a few hints and allusions that she is also involved in the family loving in Chapter 1.

I know, believe me, it's frustrating to see some type of posts, but it's better to ignore them you know how the say work " Don't feed the trolls".
Better talk about the game and what we like of it, it's a lot more interesting I agree with you.
