Not really, apparently. Here in Germany you usually start uni when you are ~20, depending on how long you make your "Abitur" which is basically a degree you do after finishing high school ( which ends when you are 16 ). I have no idea when people start to go to college, but I guess the characters will all be around 20, except Bethany and Katharina, Lea's mother. ( Even though I won't do ages for the prequel either ).

Ohhh, it's makes sense yeah. Here in Quebec we tend to finish high school at 17, so I basically was 21 when I started university (turned 22 during the year), so I was in uni from 21-22 until 25-26.

Nevermind what I said then. In my head, I was picturing them to be like 25. Sorry.

The primary difference here in the States is that Universities offer undergraduate and graduate level programs, whereas Colleges are, as far as I know, undergraduate only. There may be specialized schools that offer more, but anything like a community college, technical or vocational school is undergraduate only. A lot of people will do undergraduate Bachelor programs at a local community college because they tend to be significantly cheaper, and then transfer to a University for Master's and Ph.D programs.

In the States there really isn't a set age when people attend college. While the majority that go start right out of highschool, often times people take a "gap year" to explore other possibilities, or simply to take time off before starting the next phase of their education.
When I started, there were a number of "non-traditional" students (at least for the time) going to the same university where I was; a couple were well into their 30s.

For myself, I got my first degree fairly early at 20, and then didn't finish my last degree until I was nearly 40.
Between the two I took time off from school, worked, saved, started a family, and then when I went back I did so online, part-time, and attended every other semester until I finished my doctorate.

All that is to say, there is no set rule for how old someone is when they go to college, so I wouldn't worry too much about it.
You're a fantastic writer, a gifted artist, and your games tell engaging and interesting stories. Keep up the great work. Looking forward to seeing what comes next.

Europe, college is usually 16-18yo, sometimes 19. Then you go to university for 3 to 5 years depending on degree and whether going bachelers or Masters.

Kinda getting off-topic now, but this does not match The Netherlands at all. Here you have a high school level, and the top level can go to uni, the level below that to college, and the two/three levels below that go to various types of practical/trades schools.

Then in uni when you've done your bachelors you can choose to continue with a masters.

As for ages, usually when you finish the highest level of HS you've done 6 years of HS, so you're 18, the level below that is 5 years, and below that they take 4 years.

I like this game, and I liked the game by the same crew before it. It's been over 8 months since the last release, and I feel like I'm probably not going to see the progression with the characters we've been introduced to. Hope against hope that the developers will get back to it sometime soon?

Developer is still writing the story. His assets were taken and he didn't have access to backups, he's now waiting with hope that they'll be returned sometime in the near future. In the mean time, he finished his other game, is writing the next chapter of this game AND developing a side story/prequel since he can't work on the graphics for the main story, while also planning the second version of his other game.

Have faith.

Yes it is diffrent course we have 3 diffrent middleschool Typs Haupt- (10-18(19) Real- (10-19(20) Gynasium-school (10-19(20) depending in schoolgrades ...and then you can go to Uni.

I'm totally sure you'll get your stuff back, in no way I can conceive you CAN'T have it back.

Also, no matter how many times past, I'll say this; I love you for making this game! But don't me feel a rollercoaster of emotions like this again!
