I actually was able to use my chapter 8 save with absolutely no issues, maybe down the road I'll have problems and have to restart but I played chapter 9 with no issues.
Good to know. I guess that i will bother checking.....in 4 or 5 years.
Maple in Emelie's dress triggered a feral response in me.

Meh, I enjoyed the update. Got some Maple time and the rest was fun as well.
Sure, it feels short to some, but as an artist myself, I know this takes time. People seem to forget that the dev is hand drawing all of these images. This isn't HS, or Daz, or AI, not even tracing real porn. This is hand drawn. Everything is hand drawn. That takes a lot of work drawing out everything. With me personally, I know I have to give myself breaks for a few days to a week in between long drawing sessions to give my hand and wrist a break. It takes its toll.
So yeah, I get it, and I don't hold it against the dev. Full art pieces in different poses and angles, along with all the new sprites, then to add all the coding to put it all together, and the breaks to keep from wrist injury with all that drawing, yeah, it takes time lol.
Either way, I still like this one. Regardless of the long wait for short updates. Sure, it takes a while, but it is always fun and well done (for me at least). So, thanks for the upload and the update. Looking forward to the next one.

to be fair speed-wise the man *has* been hand drawing everything as mentioned as a one man team: backgrounds, sprites etc etc, so it taking longer than the average game with updates isn't entirely unexpected

IIRC, the deal with this dev is that he's a well-established 2D artist. He doesn't need the money from this game, he has a paying fanbase already.
Not sure if you actually draw in 2D, but with modern digital painting tools, the workflow is like 1000x faster than physical painting. Unless the artist has no clue what he's doing, and takes hours for the slightest elements.

I hope this update at least managed to fix the previous update which was COMPLETELY FUUUUUUCKED!
Seriously, I started playing the last update right after it was released, but when I got halfway through the scene with Emily and it began completely bugging out, I stopped and decided to wait for an hotfix update to fix it. Which never happened.

Bro, there's literally a giant "skip" button in the main menu that lets you skip to whatever chapter you want, no need to repeat anything. The dev even mentions this in each release.
