I know, it's almost like promoting developer bad practices has a direct negative impact on everyone that consumes the product, whether they pay for it or not. Crazy.
But then the place to lodge these complaints, surely, is in the paid areas so that the creator understands that his income is at risk rather than just some entitled bitching. If you're not paying, why should the creator care what your complaints are? You're just bitching to other pirates, and whether we agree or not, we can't help you. And if you are paying, why are you posting complaints here? Saying that, "I would totally pay if x, y, z" when you're already on a pirate site is a toothless threat.

The dev got like 8.214 paid member on patreon and most of their post is only has 4-7 comment and weirdly they are all supportive like "take your time", "masterpiece can wait"
i've supported some dev in the past and some of them has this same problem where when they made enough money they enter the "Green Phase" where they go laid back and their earning wont drop a shit
so i voiced my opinion and comment on the platform and guess what my comment is nowhere to be found
in patreon, dev could filter comment that can be shown and sometime comment that actually raised a concern got deleted
i have no doubt that the dev is also visited this site and taking note on people opinion to improve his project
Imagine being so entitled to complain about a game that is updated for free, that you didn't pay a cent for, taking time to update. Let's also ignore the fact that the artwork is of high quality and hand drawn, not AI slop, so of course it's going to take time. Let's also ignore the fact the developer is very active and keeps his paid donors informed of the progress of the game and previews of what to expect.

I don't care how short the update is, this is the high quality good shit.
I'll play it in a heartbeat but only after compression hero Bob69 or someone else wanders back in to squeeze it down to 200 MB again, wtf @ 3GB lol

Well, I am just happy it is not abandoned at this point. Unless they start losing a lot of patreons, I don't see there being any improvements in the speed or quality of updates.
I will say it is not just one scene this update. There were new characters and locations introduced and the dev made sure to make them very animated unlike other games were the characters recycle the same 5 expressions at most. Also some mini scenes and one other voyeur scene and even the sex scenes have like 4 branching routes.
But, I think each update should at least cover one full day. 6-9 months for half a day updates is not it. I hope I live to see this thing get an ending lol.

sure.. like when our dear poor drbones ban everyone who complains about his schedule in the places he had power to, i will not say most, but in some games a lot of the fans in this site are also official patrons(1tier at least) and they complain here to avoid a ban or have theirs coments deleted
I love the spanking scene in the game! If you are gonna do more spanking in the novel, I would love to see it 
I do not assume that. I argue that this is precisely what they are doing - pointless bitching. But I am replying to an argument that they are not, in fact, doing that. Dudes want to pretend that they are engaging in constructive criticism.
Would you agree that in those cases the developer is actively not listening and the complaints serve no useful purpose?
Oh it sure does have a purpose, if someone sees all the complaints, they can then decide not to sign up to their projects, losing the dev money and saving money to people seeing the complaints. I do look up on that here before I sub to someone on Patreon or SS.
