you know, he could just pick up some books about writing and then some erotic novels and just read them. Reading them alone makes you think about things differently, you all of a sudden pay more attention to things like dialogue ect. I am reading some books about writing, not erotic in specific, but they still changed my approach. This game wouldn't even need Anaïs Nin levels of writing, just some more thought put into the dialogue...
Don't just write "and they kissed." instead try to feel the tension between the characters... is it their first kiss? is that their make up kiss? ect... "He cupped her cheek with his hand and leaned in closer. As their lips touched, he kissed away all the tears, all the pain and replaced them with warmth and hope." I am not the best writer, but i feel like this is not the worst either... and all it takes is a little bit of reading and thinking. If most people who write adult games would do that, i would shut up and just enjoy the VN's... T_T
EDIT: I am more into erotic horror and all that, so i can't for the life of me write happy go lucky vanilla "and they had church approved missionary coitus." stuff...

That's exactly what I'm doing. Then again some ppl can only concentrate on so much at a time. Bro has a life, and doing other stuff so he can't dedicate everything to dev a porn game. Writing clearly ain't his passion.

I'd disagree personally, if only because I find most Japanese VNs utterly insufferable when it comes to plot, and all of the VNs I've played that either had a really interesting story overall or had really strong character moments were all Western games.
Even stuff like Heart of the Woods, which looks like it was probably made in Japan (or is deliberately mimicking their style), is a Western game.
But it's also worth remembering that the best examples of the genre will always be rare compared to the mass of weaker games, poorly-translated games, and half-ass games cranked out as quickly as possible to try and make a quick buck by fleecing Patreons.
Ive heard the dev is Swedish. I wonder if i send him a bunch of swedish snacks he will make a cool anal scene for me in the game
To be fair, you have to have a *very* high IQ to understand My Pig Princess. The humour is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of medieval fantasy and anthropomorphic fetishism most of the jokes will go over a typical player's head

Has anyone seen anything about an ETA for the next update? I read back a few pages and its all just people arguing lol.
The dev doesn't give firm estimates for when game updates will come out. That said, the time & effort he puts into the (entirely hand-drawn!) visuals has them coming out slower than many would prefer. And he is good about communicating with his supporters.
About every 6-8 months is a good placeholder, which would put Ch. 10 in Q1 of 2026. But it could be later than that, or even a bit earlier if the stars aligned.
