A part of that is probably once again protection against Patreon raising a fuss, or at least making it harder for them to. They don't like any 'official' content that breaks their terms being on linked sites like itch and the like so as long as it's 'fan-made' and hidden somewhere on discord it makes it harder for them to complain.

I think due to Patreon's rules regarding incestuous content, the devs couldn't put it directly into the game so they had to split it into another patch and call it a fan-made patch, this way they could bend the rules by saying it was just a fan-made version. In the end, I think it's still likely canon and you should just think of it as an exclusive content for those who pay
But everyone is talking about it as if you DO have to pay even though it's a FANMADE patch. It's like you buy a game and some random guy creates a patch for it and you have to pay for that patch

Well, I said it's NOT LITERALLY a FANMADE content, more like a FAKE NAME given to offcial patch so the devs could avoid any trouble with Patreon's regulation. And I don't think they have to pay again though, it's just that this patch would not be published in the future. It means if those who are NOT DEV'S PATREON MEMBER want to get this exclusive patch, they have to pay for it.

then don't call it "fanmade", just say it's an extra content patch to baypass patreon regulations, as it would otherwise intel it being made by fans and not the devs themselves
...which would defeat the whole point of calling it 'fanmade'. What part of if it's made by the devs then they get their patreon closed down or they have to remove it is hard to understand? If something is fanmade then they aren't responsible for it thus no issue.

Try imaging, when Patreon saw the patch with a name "extra content", do you really think they would see this as a non-official fanmade content? I don't think so, they would take it as a proof that the devs violated their regulations and it's possible they would have the devs' patreon closed down. So calling it "fanmade" should be a better choice. Besides it's just a name for a file, don't make a fuss over it and let it be bro.

Well, the patch did unlock new content for build 34, so it would likely be possible that there will be more contents that requires this "fanmade patch". Anyway, the game is still on going so we will have to wait until it's done and then we could make a judgment whether it's worth or not.one of the team members, vasiliivori , is using the term "fan-made patch"

sorry to talk a lot but basically im stuck at build 32 i have build 34 i need 10 mil coin but the cheat code doesnt work and i dont know what to do to trigger the dad (i have patch ) or continue story please help
In front of you, you have the latest modification file of My Pirate Husbandos Patreon Build 34. As long as you add that file, you can open the cheat interface of the modifier even if you don't have the cheat password of the modifier. Then, enter any number, preferably the upper limit. In this way, you will soon have 10 million pirate coins or 10 million silver coins and continue the plot.

i'd be interested in what the specific changes are or what new content this patch brings with it. if it's just as little as a dialogue difference like "oohh...aahh...daddy" compared to "oohh...aahh...my distant uncle/master" or something with more consistence like additional CG/item/mechanic etc.
For some reason my old file save in the father and Mc sex scene the text is not continuing.When I updated the game in the patch but I got the tigers scene double penetration.
