I've come across many a stupid people but I think Cornell ticks all those boxes how on earth can you neglect a woman with the looks of Julia is just beyond baffling I am completely at a loss but then again his loss is the MC gain especially with that ending wow
Well, if Julia were a bitch, I could see drifting apart from her. But she's an absolute sweetheart who doesn't deserve the way he treats her. That, coupled with the potential of hurting adorable Lori, and it boggles the mind.

So she knows that he's cheating on her?
Or she just feels neglected so she goes out alone and gets drunk?

btw who is this Ru... guy? :D

She at least suspects heavily that he's cheating; she may or may not have actual proof. It's possible Julia's seen the name "Charley" (or any other girl's name) on Cornell's phone. But even if she hasn't, the fact that the phone was in your room and just "happened" to overlook the house of the "hot neighbor" (presumably Daphne) should make her suspicious, especially when added to the fact that Cornell slips out to go "drinking" all the damned time.

Why the hell was he in your room on a call? Was he creepily snapping photos of the neighbor while hidden behind the curtains or something? Was he talking to Daphne — erotic talk on the line, sexting, or whatever? Not sure how close Daphne is to Julia; if they are very close, I would hope Daphne wouldn't stab her in the back, but who knows? At a bare minimum, if Julia doesn't suspect anything, she's blind. She may not have admitted it to herself, but she definitely feels strongly that he's cheating. Why else would she suddenly look sad after learning the phone was in the MC's room?

"Ru" is the beginning of the name of her first husband, Russell (although Russell was a little older than she was and seemed a fair amount older than that in how he behaved). The MC reminds her of him in many ways.

OK, just to be clear, incest patch is what this game ment to be, right? Or this patch is really non-official?

I think there's already an incest element. I don't use the patch, so IDK what all is defined with it. However, the game definitely specifies certain relationships. At the beginning, you're told you can't stay at the house while Christian (implied to be your dad, although it's not stated for sure) and Cassandra (probably your mom, or maybe your stepmom) are away on a trip. Cassandra refers to Cornell as your "uncle" and "your father's little brother". So Cornell is for sure your uncle; whether he's Christian's brother isn't said, although it's strongly implied. That's probably where the incest ends, though:
  • Julia is a step-aunt, and Lori (her daughter) is your step-cousin
  • None of the other characters have any tie to you, other than a friend-of-a-friend type of connection
There is a counter to track Love and Lust stats for Cassandra, so you will probably have a chance to seduce or romance her later on.

I managed to get most of the scenes on my first playthrough, mostly focusing on Julia, and was fine by the end of Day 03. Out of interest I downloaded the walkthrough for the 2 or 3 missing scenes and filled them up after about an hour or two of reloads, but now I'm worried about how strict the game is with paths.

On my original save I never got the "Pre Romance" condition for Julia solely because I arbitrarily chose "Eyes" instead of "Smile" during that drinking convo...does that mean if you get to the end of Day 03 and don't have the Julia Pre-Romance/Pre-Lust condition, you get locked out of a Julia-centric path in later versions? If so that seems ridiculously strict, especially since some of the the paths don't really intutitively follow on from the choices you make. I mean it doesn't really matter when you can make multiple saves, open the images in the folder outside the game etc. but in that case why even bother playing the game "properly".

Just my 2 cents.
