Yandere Simulator but Good and finished?
This game is great gameplay wise and story wise it is very intriguing with many twists and hidden character agendas. Protagonist if a female with Yandere powers (even being able to cut the threads of Fate to prevent people from meeting each other [similar to Shiki Type Moon]). I liked the game so much but why did I give it a 2 star rating? It's because the game is a sequel bait/ unfinished. It's like an unpolished diamond/ a beta test (but released as a first part game). The mechanics are there but many of the mechanics outright do not work properly (many bugs) or does not work (like the BF is nowhere on the map and no indicators where the BF currently is even though the girl is a Yandere and should have some means to track the BF down wherever he is). I was not able to utilize the date mechanic either due to a bug or the BF is just good at hiding across the map (I checked most of his common spawn points like industrial area, his home, park (he stopped spawning after finishing kiss event), sea, observatory. Sometimes events do not track that they've been seen (like an event where you see people talking to one another, the game does not put a checkmark on the map and sometimes does not even reward the event completion).
Like it's western counterpart YANDERE GAMES SURE ARE CURSED to not be finished when released and always be on a permanent beta state (yes the sequel comes out on March but it's such a blueball where the game currently ended).
The H scenes are nice though with varying scenarios and the characters are well drawn. This game only has 1 ending no matter what you do since it stops at the midpoint of the story (so choices currently does not matter).
I WOULD'VE given this game a 5 star if it released as a completed version (4 star maybe if there are still some bugs here and there). I would change my review probably when the sequel comes but either way this game is a great game that is currently UNFINISHED. You will only feel sequel baited at the end so just probably wait for the sequel so you can play the complete product. The characters here have such varying personalities and their personal agendas and I would love to see how this story ends.
Another downside to this game is there is currently no FULL unlock gallery option at game end. Sure you could always download a Full save from someone in the forum but it's still a downside to the game as getting scenes here are very time specific (you need to get to certain dates for some) many of the scenes are missable and would require you to replay the game (no way to go to certain past dates only rewind the current day. I'm reviewing the game as it is with the current content available (not relying on 3rd party saves to get full gallery).
