Bad news from dev's twitter: he lost some of the project data (including CG work) for part 2. Not everything is gone, as shared parts of the project are kept on the server but it doesn't look great at the moment. No info on eventual delay as he's trying to recover whatever he can for now.

That is awfully convenient when things were aiming for a September release. Shit sucks. Hope the game isn't delayed too much. Or worse, released incomplete.

Eh, maybe? It's not like he's gaining anything with a delay since part 2 will be a separate product instead of a free update it was planned as initially. Delay only means he'll have to wait longer for the money.

It mostly repeats the twitter info: data shared with other members of the team is safely stored on the server but he lost his local drive with illustrations and the stuff he was working on on his own. Are you sure you're not talking about Celesphonia? I'm pretty sure the only game overs here are related to failing main story events but I might be forgetting something.
I mean, in Chapter 1 or 2, I don't remember it clearly, when I sleep instead of the new day and the new content, I find the choice of game over because it meets the conditions of the Lust point
