I finished the game using mtool, but I had trouble launching it, as I kept getting green errors in the various menus. As I figured out, the free translation (bing) was to blame, along with my old saves from version 1.05, which I'd transferred over to continue playing from day 6. Ultimately, I simply started over again. I translate the game using mtool again and was quickly able to catch up with the content from the previous version.

I don't think the translation is to blame, because even if you just run the Mtool game without changing the language, the error persists.
