Not saying one is better than the other. It's just that in this game in particular, they don't change at all in some of the paths.

I felt like picking up a VN, felt like it's been a while since I looked at anything with Netorase and thus, this is what ended up being fished out of my backlog. Plus, it was a capu translation, figured that'd make things better than some of the other options out there...
Now, since this is a pure VN without any gameplay (99% pure VN anyway...) there's only so much that can be said without getting into spoilers. Still, there's some things that are worth noting.
I'll start by saying that I picked this up from the gofile link, and I downloaded it on Dec 3rd, though I didn't start reading right away at that point. At the time, I had certain expectations, given that this is a capu translation. For the pervs that have been around the block for a while, they know that capu's VN translations used to have a certain level of quality to them. You saw that name in the TLer bracket, you knew you'd have a good time... with certain exceptions.
This VN feels like it's one of those exceptions. Spelling mistakes, poor formatting, occasional awkward phrasing and more are all present in this TL, and I've only seen this sort of thing only once before in a capu TL... when the TL was grabbed early and then no one updated it to the final version. I don't know if that's what happened here or not, but this is definitely not the best example of capu's work that I've seen to date, that's for sure. Even then, it's better than a lot of other crap I could name out there...
Maybe one day we'll get a better version. Who knows? Whether it'll be worth revisiting or not, that's another question entirely.
When it comes to the VN itself, the main thing that's worth noting is that this a pure "Fetish Netorase" VN as I like to call them. That is to say, the Netorase never turns literal, and the Kenichi's wife is never taken away from him by any of the circumstances she gets put into because of her husband's dubious fetish. It's also as basic as it can get in terms of structure, in the sense that choices that show up lead to immediate branching with only a couple of exceptions. There's one where the choice doesn't matter at all (and doesn't even show up as a choice in the Flow chart) and another that just changes what scene will happen, but everything after it stays the same. On top of that, whenever choices do show up, they only ever have 2 options, and there's not that many of them.
Ultimately, this makes the Flow Chart pretty pointless, because there's no intersections or complex choice combinations or anything like in some other VNs out there. Its only purpose is really to allow the reader to jump between Kenichi and Yoshino's perspective more easily, and I suppose to give the ability to jump in any given point in the narrative once the whole thing is unlocked.
The VN is very basic, and as long as you can enjoy the premise, the characters, and the art, then the only thing you need to get through it and see the majority of the content is time.
Now, you can't exactly see all of the content. Specifically, you can't see 1 ending scene that doesn't have any H in it. The extra 7th scene where Yoshino actually gets fed up with her husband's fetish and blows up at him. This is because that scene is tied to the 1% of this VN that tries to be something other than a VN, a clicking mini-game or something... which doesn't work and which can only be skipped. Dunno if there's a way to skip it in a way that produces the failure state, but I personally couldn't be assed to figure that out. If there's a fix for that thing, I wasn't particularly inclined to look all that hard for it. At the very least, a quick search of the thread didn't reveal it to me.
Moving on. The story itself is pretty basic. The description basically covers most of it. Husband develops a netorare fetish, gets his wife into it, smut happens.
It's worth noting that unlike the many Atelier Sakura takes on this particular premise that plenty of peeps here have likely seen, this VN actually takes the time to explore both Kenichi's struggles with his fetish as well as Yoshino's own difficulties with accepting her husband's desires. It's not like some other works out there where the girl is immediately ok with jumping in another man's arms for her husband's sake. Kenichi has to work at it to steadily wear down his wife's resistance to the idea, as well as build up her understanding that yes, he is absolutely getting off to her getting dicked by another dude.
Depending on how you look at it, the whole thing is sweet, in a twisted sort of way, and unlike other stories of this type that I could name, this VN does a better job of exploring the wife's mindset during the whole mess.
That said, it does have the issue that the branches outside of the main one don't feel as well thought out or organized. The last two in particular feel downright tacked on, but I'll go into more detail in my usual spoilery musings.
For now, I'll say that the smut here is pretty vanilla. There's barely any anal (basically 2.5 scenes, really), no particularly weird positions or anything, no crazy fetishes, no rape, about 2-ish group scenes. All in all, fairly easy to enjoy even for most vanilla peeps unless they find the whole netorase thing as utterly abhorrent for whatever reason. Some of the scenes are animated, but not most of them. There's also two artists that worked on this thing, one focused on the bigger CGs and animations, while the other worked on the scenes seen "from afar" or the marathon fuck scenes. It's pretty easy to tell the difference because the second artist made Yoshino's boobs bigger and perkier in all the scenes they work with. It's not a big enough difference to be jarring, I'd say, but it's definitely noticeable if you pay attention to the details.
Moving on, it's time for
All in all, even with it's issues, this is a great Netorase VN. If you like the theme, the love and the art, I imagine some people could easily give it 4 stars. Maybe even 5. Not me though, since the issues with the added routes hold it back from being truly amazing. I'd have honestly preferred if they put more effort and scenes in the 1st route rather than half-assing some of the stuff in the others. Oh well. Nothing is ever perfect, definitely not smut. Honestly, if not for the fact that ANIM Team has a clear DRM obsession, I'd have probably considered buying this, but alas. I'm a death to DRM kind of perv and have no intention of supporting any company that obsesses over it.
