I'm not one of those who rate games after the first or second release, but here I wanted to break my rule six months ago when I first argued with Tara about her musical tastes.
Do you know this feeling when you meet a person, and it seems as if you have known them all your life? Or you enter into a relationship and literally feel at home. From the first release, from the first lines I read, I felt like it here. And, oddly enough, given that this is an adult visual novel, the sex scenes are secondary to me in it, because the plot, storytelling, characters, atmosphere and humor are great for my taste. Don't get me wrong, the sex scenes are just as good as the renders themselves, but I'm used to forgiving the quality of the picture for the sake of the quality of the story and the characters. So if anyone finds arousal problems in sex scenes, remember that we all have different tastes.
Despite the fact that I'm not a big fan of mystical novels, this story captured me from the very beginning. I haven't seen before, perhaps because I wasn't looking, murder stories so well spiced with good humor and wrapped in an adult visual novel. A new world, in a sense, a carefully thought out lore, which is not served in one gulp so that you choke, but gradually, plunging the player and the main character into the abyss of magicians, vampires and fairies.
I give this game 6 out of 5 because I can and sincerely hope that I will see Nines complete this story as it's intended.
P.S. I also want to express my condolences to all werewolves who apparently don't exist.
