The progress is not lost. I am reusing systems I've already made. I chose the male path because It combines 4 of initially planned paths, whereas the female path was covering just one. This change may suck for some people, but try to consider that when I finally get to making it my skill will be on a higher level.
As far as real porn assets go, I always hated them, and process of finding them. Using porn as real assets is rarely good, and I doubt I would be able to pull that off. I switched to 2DCG because I like to draw as a hobby, and writing a game gives me a great reason to practice and get better.
i don't doubt you will have better skill i'm just frustrated that i need to wait idk how long to come back on the female path(the better one for me) and just to be fair lost all my previous time on that make me wonder but i'm just a player it's not me who decide it is your game and hobby and in that way i can team up if i was better at drawing i will have to do the same as you but im not good in that domain ^^
Honestly respect for the developer that he let the old version intact and up for playing.Curious to see what he will make with his new idea. But would be a nice ideea to specify the version as a lower one as in this can be consider a demo or alpha release
yeah tried it but the male mc is really not interesting, the game was going well now i feel like i wasted time,will wait for the female mc to be back not interested in playing the male one anymore.
Waiting for FMC too, most of us MC in real life we comming here for some difference)

Now, the game has changed the genres into a totally different directions. It’s NOT just adjustment; it’s a replacement. Unmatching interest is the reason why people decide to leave.
It’s not the Dev’s fault. If his interest is to develop a game of his own, he can choose to do whatever he wants. If his goal is not aligned with the targeted audiences’ interests, they leave. Simply as is.

Creating the artwork for a game like this is a full time job just by itself. Have you considered using AI to help you create art in your own style to at least help make the process a little easier?

Hey, thanks for having a reasonable look at this. Although it might seem like a replacement, I am only trying out a different route. It's hard to tell whether the majority of people prefer the male or female path. I am just trying to make a fun game for people the way I imagined it since the beginning. I am considering focusing on both paths at the same time, doing updates alternately. But that would slow down overall progress.

I will never use AI, I prefer my art to look mediocre and slowly learn to draw better. All the fun for me comes from writing multiple choice game, interesting mechanics and my own artwork. Even if it takes more time.

That is good to hear! I hate that AI stuff ... it all looks so strange to me.
The Skill Tree Beta Perk Just seems to take you to the alpha choices even stared a new game still just took to alpha choices

You're thinking about a very specific type of AI art. The kind that gives the uncanny valley effect. If the artist uses machine learning to create are from their own work it wouldn't look different from the stuff they create themselves.

Well I hope you can maintain a content cadence while doing all that work without getting burned out or bored. I played the game pre-switch and it looked interesting and promising. Either way. best of luck.

Good catch, I found the bug. It only affected one short scene, but still unlocks beta choices during dates and flirts. I will fix it during next update.
