Feel free to try to do so. Usually such attempts end up being abandoned after the second-third release, with about 30-40$ on subs, after you suddenly realize that people aren't really enthusiastic about throwing their money at something very generic and clearly uninspired and it's just too much work for such money.

Seriously though, unless I'm horribly misremembering something, during the early development stages there were plans for making ALL Naruto characters romanceable (not sure if it meant their own paths or just a scene-per-one), which, while I'm not a Naruto fan/expert, pretty sure hasn't been achieved (and unlikely to ever be, if the game ends in about 12 or so updates). That being said, with the way the game's story/writing has been derailed more and more from the original source material - with over-the-top body-horror/gore elements and extremely generic porn writing (and I don't just mean the porn scenes themselves - most of the "peaceful" scenes look like they were taken from the cheap porn movies), I'd say the decision to finish it as gracefully as you can - while you still can - is the right one.

And what exactly is your point? That it's possible to release a fully finished game from-zero-to-completed in just a year or so and the only reason why all these scammy devs aren't doing that is their laziness/greed? Again, have you actually tried yourself at gamemaking or you're just voicing an opinion of a couch expert? As many issues this game has, being a "milking product" is definitely not one of them - from the very beginning it had a stable release schedule of 1 release-per-month and it'll be finished in 4 years after the initial release.

Oh it does work, just pop the file in the right directory and just make sure you have opened the game at least once, and that is basically it
