Gonna refrain from rating this until there's more content since it's very early game, but this is looking really good so far. Promising stuff. Im leaving a bunch of feedback because this game has potential and I want to see it become great. Also it's cool to see the developer in here, i hope these comments are worthwhile

Feedback:

- Recipe bug: I also had a couple of mismatched "Recipe unlocked/max/upgraded" messages. More than once I got a "Max quality: Cheeseburger" message before I even discovered the Cheeseburger.
- Cheeseburger minigame/item: it is a strange item in the bakery, the other recipes work much better so far. Maybe it's because there's a cheeseburger minigame, but I do hope to see more variation in this particular minigame. It would be cool to have to assemble different things depending on what you sell.
- Other minigames: they're allright i guess. They get the job done. I like the "fulfill list" and "wipe" minigames the most, the "remember 4 items and pick them out" could be improved probably (idrk how). Not a huge fan of the "put together stuff" minigame, bit too repetitive. Overall i hope to see a bit more variation in the minigames (even if it's just something basic like different color variation in the same minigame)
- Happiness: currently too tedious. It always goes down and there's not really much ways to bring it up apart from items. There's jogging but with only 1 free action per workday you're better off spending it on recipes.
- Stamina: opposite problem, a bit too easy. I'm just at the end of the story content and I'm always at max stamina.
- Money: good balance here so far I think!
- Bakery upgrades: seem to be mostly worthless at this point in development? Same with Fame stat. I also had the same bug as someone else where the upgrades don't save, also sometimes I can keep clicking to the right in the bakery upgrade screen and it breaks the whole upgrade UI lol.
- Books: work pretty well. The amount of available books is a bit overkill but that's more due to the lack of progression/girls. Also why is the bakery recipe book in the food section and not in the book section?

Overall: a little grindy / repetitive, though if you're planning to add a difficulty curve to the game that's not too big of a issue. The H-scenes are good, though there's not a lot to comment on there. We need more girls and scenes!!

Thank you for playing the game and for the very detailed assessment!

- We will fix the bugs in an update within next week.

- Cheeseburger - to me too, it is uncanny in a bakery, but when the team came up with it, I let it fly anyway. I guess it is a matter of cultural perception. I am based in Europe where no bakery would ever sell a cheeseburger. The rest of the team is based in Asia where some bakeries will sell many sorts of Western food. The way you suggest (to also offer variations with other food items we are more likely to expect in a bakery) is certainly the way to go.

- Indeed we need much more vairation in the mini-games.

- Happiness / Stamina do indeed require more balance. It will come as the game difficulty increases. So far, we kept it easy enough to make sure everybody can reach though the end of the available contents. I do agree that it is a bit tedious to have to shop for items on a regular basis to maintain happiness.

- The recipe book should indeed be in the book section. I had that discussion already with the rest of the team.

Cheers,
C.

The strangest part of this minigame is that you can do it even without haveing a cheeseburger recipt in the first place though... useing the minigame to make any of the food you actually know how would atleast remove that strangeness

The mini games have no warning nor instructions and are too damn fast.
They all have very basic game mechanics, so we thought their titles would be enough. I agree that you are not likely to succeed at one on the first attempt because it will take more time than you've got to figure it out and then execute it. But then they come up again, and once you know what to do, they become pretty easy.

Thank you for the feedback though. Maybe we could remove the time limit at first, and then introduce it at a later point in the game (or after the player has succeeded once in said mini-game). I'll discuss it with the team.

This is true. Even in the West some bakeries serve breakfast sandwiches (like a sausage and egg biscuits/etc) as part of their menus, so its not much of a leap that they might serve lunch fare to customers. Especially if they operate all day vs just in mornings especially places that are a sit down environment in particular as an option. IHOP for example sells burgers and they even make a joking marketing ploy using a meme claiming to be rebranding as IHO(b) for a while (even though everyone under like 40 knew what they were doing).

Maybe on certain days they have specific items only on that/those day(s), so the player has to pay mind to that for the mini-games? Would be a fun little thing to give variation each day rather than the mini-games being the exact same each day, like Mondays and Saturdays being the busiest (making the mini-games a bit more challenging but with bigger rewards for doing perfectly?)

Maybe you could have doing with time limit as a mode that gives better rewards? (A simple "Easy/timed" mode choice at start each time, with timed giving more/faster rewards? Possibly having doing well on timed mode enough times is tied to one or more steam achievements upon launch? (Where another achievement is for easy mode once?) That way those who want to enjoy the plot vs those who like the puzzles/challenge BOTH get what they want out of it?

Imo it would be great then for those who would like to play with grind, and others doing well in minigames gives a significantly bigger benefit than not. Maybe mini-games having a skip after a certain point in the game (but with less rewards, akin to having done good but neither great/poorly). While doing them you can get additional bonuses (or maybe after a certain threshold it could give a secret/true ending?).

Just a few ideas to kick around if they aren't already planned.

Thanks for the suggestions! I'll discuss them with the team. Indeed we do have to accommodate for the fact that not everybody wants to play the same way. There has to be a possibility to skip the mini-games.

Minigames timer a bit hard at start(bcos not tutorial section and it is simple so no need) otherwise i really like this game. Sadness that too less content. Way to go developer. This game reminds me Inari. I hope they surpass it ;). My only advice: I like challenge so i can manage money and happiness level(a bit downing fast) but quite a people do not like it and just want to recieve contents. Need to find a good balance ;)

Thank you for trying the game and for providing feedback! We have been discussing this in the team earlier today. One possible course of action, to be confirmed, is:
1/ Introduce each mini-game with no time limit, and then introduce the time limit after the player has completed the game once.
2/ Offer two game modes, Easy and Normal. In Easy mode, you'd get full benefits of mini-games even if you fail or skip them.

Cheers,
C.

Make a book for your "1st option for a challenge ;)". Just one time doing will feel like all those mini games hard works is like poff. Thx for listening.

Running into an issue with the resolution not scaling properly. Would you be able to add an option to switch to windowed mode with selectable resolution?

Yes, we should have included that. I will add it to the to-do list.
Thank you for bringing it up!
