So where exactly is it explicitly referenced that Jo was or is a prostitute? She says she was a stripper and a pornstar, that doesn't make her a prostitute. It may be that she actually is a prostitute, but so far there is nothing to suggest it in the game. You are making assumptions based on your own personal opinion of what constitutes prostitution. Maybe from your perspective it is explicitly referenced, but the reality so far is that it's not.
That's not to say that it won't eventually happen. In games of this type, that's always a possibility, and I certainly won't be bothered if it does. I'm quite willing to corrupt Susan in every way possible. But so far I've yet to play a game where it's actually happened. There are several I'm currently playing where it has been explicitly referenced, that it's going to happen, but whether it actually will remains to be seen. I remember Katie's Corruption, where the Dev totally wimped out at the end, giving us a totally foreshortened version, rather than any actual sex scenes where she was a total slut. It was the same with Elena's Life. As soon as she surrenders to her slutty side, the game ends abruptly. What is the point of spending years corrupting a character, if you're not given the opportunity to bask in her sluttiness? I say all this to demonstrate, that I'm more than willing to see Jo and Susan become whores before the end of the game, but so far I ain't seeing it.
You say parody, but that's what a lot of us want, and it's rarely ever delivered in adult games. Which kind of means that it's not parody at all, if it's only promised but never actualised.
I know it was done for legal reasons. But in whatever world does a 19 year old still attend High School? It's simply not possible ( alright, it's possible for someone to return to High School to complete their diploma, up till age 21, but nothing in the text suggests that Mike has had a long period away from school). I'm guessing the Dev wanted to make Mike at least one year older than Sally, whilst still having them at least 18. But unfortunately, it's still not believable in any way, without clarifying that Mike has been excluded or missed school through illness etc. It is believable, if highly unlikely, that Sally might be one of those girls who just doesn't look her age. Some forms of autism even delay puberty till the individuals are over 20. I don't know why he didn't just make them both 18, and have Sally be either Jo's birth daughter or adopted?
