I think it was the criticism over the rambling plot and severe disconnect from the original plotline with the last 3 or so expansions that got his undies twisted.

Not even for the plot, in fact he continued in his intentions, but for the fact that it was leaked 10 days before that version became public and it continues to be leaked, if the game is so criticized I can see that you continue to play it anyway.
I think you will see little to no dev here, but that is just my assumption.

One clarification: v.051, a very short version, tells about the hangover, came out 20 days after v0.50 the dev wanted to surprise the supporters, so there is some idiot who needs to revise his counts.
The v.0.52 on time as always on the first of March, in total in 1 month 3 versions.

Even the $1 one has access to the polls, and the difference between landing strip 35.29% and bald is 41.18 with a total of 31, about 2 votes difference, so I would say it would definitely have contributed... all it takes is one more who followed your example

I don’t understand why even a poll at all? I liked Susan with a bush what’s the point of even having a poll if it’s just shaved or landing strip? Just another dev that actually had something good with a actual real looking woman with a bush and has to do the whole shaving the bush off

Exactly why you do the polls maybe you like the 70s bush, others don't, however bald maybe not either, most I think wanted it to be well groomed and not a jungle to use the machete.

Yeah, I think you're right. Personally, despite having lost a few diopters behind those bushes, I prefer a well-tended one.
I especially like the idea of a woman taking care of it, like I do my beard, goatee or mustache.
I think Dev did it to be fair. They've already criticized him for it, and all hell would have broken loose if he hadn't.
