I understand your frustration, and I fully acknowledge that SRPG Studio isn’t the best engine. While other developers often have teams working on their games, I’m the only one actively creating this in my free time as a hobby and passion project. That said, I know my situation doesn’t justify any lack of professionalism, and I’m aware I don’t have a game development background. This journey has been a huge learning process for me, and over the past year, I’ve received all kinds of feedback and criticism. You can call the game bad, or even worthless—I get it. But to say I don’t care? That’s disheartening, man.
You’re not the first person to suggest improvements like the ones you’ve mentioned. Don’t you think I want to do all those things too? If it were easy, I would have done them already. Developing assets, improving gameplay, and fixing bugs take both time and money, and I’ve already poured so much into this project. You made it sound like I’m heartless and leeching off the payers. If I wanted to do that, I would have picked easier game engine. I’ve been paying artists and programmers far more than I’ve earned. I’ve even taken the time to learn programming and pick up drawing, all because of my passion for this project.
Sure, you can say it’s bad. Sure, you can say it has no value. But I honestly have no idea why it’s still in this state after countless iterations and rounds of feedback. Apparently, no one has been as critical as you. I don’t have any excuses. But I promise you—I’ve worked hard on this.
As for the paywall, this has been addressed in the threads before. The paid content is just minor extras, while the majority of the game is free. The exclusive content is more of a thank-you gift for supporters who want to help me keep this project going.
Regarding the auto-skip issue, I suggest checking the settings on the title screen. Others have run into this problem too, and tweaking the settings might resolve it for you.
Overall, I appreciate your criticism, even if it wasn’t as constructive as I had hoped. Your words aren’t new to me, but I’ll take them into account nonetheless. Thank you.
Yeah sorry but brother, there's a huuuuge technical debt already and it's barely started... And honestly, those engines aren't even that hard to handle, there's plenty of tutorial over the web if not open source assets to get it done for you.
I mean, getting proper controls and better resolution settings are things that do not rely that much on skills and that would make your game a lot more user friendly. I had to restart 3 time before the end of the very first scene because i pressed right click and spacebar, because i couldn't figure out the cancel button and ended up exiting the game, just because i didn't wanted to miss out on the prologue. I mean those are very obvious issue that fixing can't be delayed. On the other hand i know resolution is awful with those old ass engines, not expecting of you to make it anything else than 4/3, but then again we're at what, 800/600? pretty sure u can at least get it a bit higher, or even simply cheat your way out so that i don't have to get my magnifying glass to find the window on my widescreen :KEK:

So again sorry for the salt yesterday but really, i can't emphasize enough how much the game feels unwelcoming right now. It feels as if you didn't played it yourself.

Anyway, good luck going forward.

Thank you for your response. I’ll try my best to improve the game based on your advice.

I have a question: can you 100% the game on the public release, or on the exclusive version of the game? (or what is the the big difference between the versions, what is the public version missing?)

You cannot 100% the game at this moment in either version because they are in the development.

In the current exclusive version, each act has an exclusive non-canon event: 1 scene of bestiality, 6 variations of rejuvenating potion scenes, 1 wet bandit ceremony event, and 2 extra monkey H-scenes*. These are minimal compared to the main content.

The exclusive content of Act IV is temporary. My original plan was to keep unfinished Act IV exclusive until it is complete, but some people suggested that I should post it here. The 2 extra monkey scenes are meant to be publicly accessible in the final version.

That being said, those scenes are just something extra, but they seem to spark hatred and controversy. I’m in the process of planning and remodeling the distribution so that it’s fair yet sustainable. So the exclusive version might be transformed or abolished entirely. I’m not entirely certain.
