The dev doesn't have the power to delete messages, only the forum mods can do that. Not defending the silence but that has nothing to do with them.

I agree, pretty dishonorable and only indicative of a scam. Any public outcry like this could have been avoided when they missed their 2 month development cycle deadline by simply providing an update. No updates on patreon or on here, no one seems to be saying they've gotten replies to any PM's to the dev on patreon, and their patreon volume seems to be steadily be decreasing. It just doesn't feel as though they care at all. It is odd that they even developed a schedule and had a generally professional and dedicated demeanor that faded away almost immediately.
Nobody understands why the dev behaves like this, even though he's online here once a week. Now it's almost like a scam. I don't want to assume anything, but maybe it wasn't his own game. The game is far too good for a newcomer. Who knows.
The dev is online to check on other games, first and foremost this is his personal account. If it wasn't already clear he doesn't gaf about this thread. Maybe one day there will be a comeback but for now it's better if you just forget about this game.

I hope someone takes inspiration from this game and makes their own version of it.
It was a really novel concept. It is a shame, especially since it was abandoned right before you know what. Obviously, the antagonist did this before with the couple before. That would have been interesting to see as well. Shame.

what do you mean abandoned?? fuck, mind control/drugs are not well liked themes on Patreon so maybe thats the problem? pity because i love games like this one

This game was marked abandoned because it never had its first update and the Patreon went quiet after the dev posted an update saying that they had completed 71 renders and posted one as a sample. The image was then taken down because it violated Patreon's nebulous community standards and we haven't heard a peep from the dev since then.

Wait, what? I thought he hadn't posted anything over there beyond a bland status report. So it was Patreon who helped kill his enthusiasm? Er, has anyone suggested Subscribestar to him? Not that I think that it would be enough to bring him back, but still. I'd put five down a month to help if he was over on Subscribestar and gave us something right away to prove he's back.

At the moment the render that he posted isn't there, so it does look like a bland status report, but in an edit he explains that the image was removed for violating community standards. I didn't see it before it was removed so I have no idea what its content was. In the status update it was indicated that 71 renders and an animation were completed. However, since the game was never updated and there was no further communication we can only assume what the issue was. Since the update is public anyone can review it for themselves and draw their own conclusions.

Honestly, this game would be easier to resurrect - only one female character, no character-interactive stats to keep up with, simpler overall plot...
On the other hand... I doubt it. I think it's kind of obvious TrippityDippity has chosen lurking and the physical world over making his own game.
Now if someone wanted to take it over... I would raise my hand and offer my services as a writer, free of charge. I could come up with the rest of this story, including sex scenes, choices, multiple endings and everything in three weeks tops.
... although saying that, I know writing is almost certainly the easiest part of creating a game...
