You have to unlock the AV Store to enhance and play the tapes. Also if L and Kana film videos together you can buy them there.

You unlock it by restoring the population back to a certain point then a guy in the west side of town will give you a quest to find some tapes in one of the lost districts at night time.

Yeah I just found I could watch thier first movie but not the ones i shot, i just wanted to see if they were different.

Also any idea when it says MC needs to rest? Do I just go back to bed?

You can't watch the ones you've recorded. They are just there to enhance and sell to the porn shop.

As for resting, for the MC it doesn't matter if you rest or not , but if Kana gets too tired she struggles to wake up at the mornings and you have to go her house every morning (if you are not living together yet) to wake and pick up her, which is a waste of time and annoying. If she gets too tired just let her rest couple of days or go to exorcism alone.

Does anyone know what the autorecorder does? All these years later, I still don't know how to use it. I assumed it allows you to auto-record the camera events but there's no way to connect it to anything. Is it just an abandoned mechanic same as the evidence system?

Do you mean the cameras? During day-time exorcism, go up to orange spots on the walls and press the action button (usually "Z") and choose the camera you want to install (regular/high-quality). Do that to all the rooms you can find and return to the surveillance area to go through them and monitor Kana's position.

It really surprises me that more games don't follow this formula— workplace NTR where you actually have a job to do. The exorcisms aren't exactly the best part of Nebel, but at least they give the game a certain structure that feels right.
